Jesse James Tells Sandra "I'm Truly Sorry"

While he hasn’t come out and officially admitted having an affair, Sandra Bullock’s husband Jesse James issued an apology to his wife and three kids saying, “There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. It’s because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way.”

In a statement provided to People magazine on Thursday (March 18), James says:

“The vast majority of the allegations reported are untrue and unfounded. Beyond that, I will not dignify these private matters with any further public comment.

“There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. It’s because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way.

“This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them. I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them. I hope one day they can find it in their hearts to forgive me.”

Jennifer Love Hewitt is Single?

A rep for Jennifer Love Hewitt has confirmed that she has split with her boyfriend of just over a year, funnyman Jamie Kennedy.

PEOPLE published the first official confirmation of the split, which has been speculated about in the blogospher for the past few weeks after the couple haven't been seen together at a number of events.

No details about the cause of the breakup have been forthcoming from their spokespeople.

Corey Haim Found Dead, Aged 38

1980s teen heartthrob Corey Haim, famous for his role in The Lost Boys, died on Wednesday morning at Providence St Joseph Medical Centre in Burbank, Los Angeles County coroner’s Lieutenant Cheryl MacWillie confirms. He was 38.

The cause of death is unknown, according to Police Sergeant William Mann, who said that Haim had flu-like symptoms before he died and was getting over-the-counter and prescription medication.

“He could have succumbed to whatever (illness) he had or it could have been drugs. Who knows?” Mann said. “He has had a drug problem in the past.”

Haim was taken by ambulance to the hospital from an apartment in Los Angeles, located in a complex known as Oakwood, it s popular with young actors.

An autopsy will determine the cause of death, although Police Sergeant Michael Kammert said there is no evidence of foul play.

Haim collaborated numerous times with actor Corey Feldman throughout his career, leading to the pair being dubbed “The Two Coreys”.

Feldman today mourned the loss of a ‘‘wonderful, beautiful, tormented soul,’’ who he said would ‘‘always be my brother, family and best friend’’.

‘‘I was awakened at 8.30 this morning by my brother and sister knocking on my bedroom door,’’ Feldman wrote on his official blog.

‘‘They informed me of the loss of my brother Corey Haim. My eyes weren’t even open all the way when the tears started streaming down my face.’’

Feldman called for respect for his and Haim’s families while they grieved.

‘‘We must all take this as a lesson in how we treat the people we share this world with while they are still here to make a difference,’’ he said.

‘‘I hope the art Corey has left behind will be remembered as the passion of that for which he truly lived.’’

Haim endured a long struggle with drug abuse, after smoking his first joint as a child when working on Lost Boys. He took both stimulants and sedatives such as Valium, and at one point, “it was about 85 [pills] a day”, he revealed to a newspaper in 2004.

In a 2007 interview on CNN’s Larry King Live, Haim admitted that he was “a chronic relapser for the rest of my life”.

Lindsay Lohan Denies Dating DJ

Lindsay Lohan has denied the latest round of romance rumors, this time linking her to DJ Gareth Geno, which she says is not true.

According to British tabloid The Mirror, the 23-year-old was "all over" her alleged new man at London's Sketch nightclub on Wednesday night (March 3).

"I have to move to London. He's so cute," she reportedly told the paper.

However, Lohan denied the rumor on Twitter saying, "I'm NOT dating him, lies lies lies."

Anna Kendrick Oscar Date?

The man candy on Anna Kendrick's arm at the Oscars next Sunday (March 14) won't be one of her Twilight co-stars, nor a hot Hollywood love interest. Instead, the Up in the Air star – nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category – plans to bring her brother, Michael.

The 24-year-old, who appears as Bella's school friend Jessica Stanley in Twilight, confirmed to E! News that she's bringing her brother and her mom as dates to the Academy Awards.

"I'm flying them out. I'm so excited. My mom wants to meet George Clooney!" Kendrick says.

While she's trying to enjoy the awards season, Kendrick also admits that she's finding all of the attention to be overwhelming.

The actress, who is starting to get a taste of the level of fame that co-stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner attract, says she couldn't even watch the Oscar nomination announcement.

"I was too nervous to sit and watch the nominations, so I went for a run at five in the morning," Kendrick reveals.

"I just waited for my roommate to text me. And then it was actually really nice, because I was sort of alone in the dark. I kind of wanted to shout, but I didn't want to wake everyone up at 5:30 in the morning."

All eyes will be on the emerging talent's frock choice on the big night, and Kendrick confirms, "I'm not allowed to talk about what I'll wear, but I'm going to try it on in a few days and it's beautiful. I'm really excited about it. It's a designer that I’ve worn [before]."

Picking out her jewels "is going to be the fun part," Kendrick adds. "That's the part where I get to play."

Lily Allen vs. Courtney Love?

Lily Allen denies that she became embroiled in a scrap with Courtney Love at this week’s NME Awards in London, but still pulled out the claws for one quick swipe at the Hole rocker. Read what she had to say after the jump.

According to reports, the pair struck up a conversation backstage at the awards, which quickly turned heated and allegedly involved third parties pulling them apart.

Love then did what she does well, headed for Twitter:

Charlie Sheen Goes To Rehab

Charlie Sheen's rep announced Tuesday that the Two and a Half Men star will take a break from the hit tv show to enter a rehabilitation facility again, just a fortnight after his wife, Brooke Mueller, did the same thing.

"As a preventative measure, Charlie Sheen has entered a rehabilitation facility," Sheen's publicist, Stan Rosenfield, said in a a statement. "He will take some time off his series Two and a Half Men. He has asked that his privacy be honored."

The couple made headlines on Christmas Day (2009) after an argument erupted at their Colorado holiday home, with Sheen being arrested for felony menacing and misdemeanor charges of third-degree assault and criminal mischief after he allegedly threatened her with a knife.

"CBS, Warner Bros. Television and [executive producer] Chuck Lorre support Charlie Sheen in his decision today to begin voluntary inpatient care at a treatment centre," a statement from CBS, producers of Sheen's show, said.

"We wish him nothing but the best as he deals with this personal matter."
