You could cut the atmosphere with a Jimmy Choo stiletto. One-time best mates Katie Holmes and Victoria Beckham are caught in a row over which of them is the queen of style. Katie, 29, was so furious over Victoria, 33, being cover girl for a recent issue of US Vogue that she called her a street tramp and mocked her tattoos.

Now the pair are hardly seen together and the row is jeopardising Tom Cruise's plan to invest more than $109 million in David Beckham's football team LA Galaxy.

A friend of Katie says: 'Katie was on the cover of Harper's Bazaar in the US last year and she's envious Victoria scored Vogue.'

Victoria received lots of praise for her shoot. By contrast Katie's photos were unremarkable.

What's especially galling for Katie is that she used to be the senior partner in the friendship and still looks down on Posh.

A source says: 'Katie and Tom are true Hollywood royalty. They turned Victoria and David into stars in the US, and threw
a party for them when they arrived there.

'The friendship was on Katie's terms and she would laugh at Victoria's crude ways,' the source adds. 'But it's needling her that she's being made to look as if she doesn't have any taste and needs Victoria to help her.

'She's sick of Victoria's style. So when Victoria told her to get tattoos, she said: "Tattoos are trashy. I wouldn't be caught dead with one.'''

Victoria's latest tattoo features the Latin phrase de integro, meaning 'afresh' and marks her and David's renewal of their wedding vows. The meaning is important to her, so she was offended by Katie's comments.

Our source reveals: 'Victoria said: "How dare she attack my tattoos! I know more about fashion than she'll ever know. I have my own line. I've told her what to wear - she used to dress like a schoolgirl."'

Tom, 45, isn't thrilled about Victoria's style advice. 'He preferred Katie looking more conservative,' an insider says.

But Tom is thought to be an operator in all of this too. He's holding the LA Galaxy purchase over David's head as leverage to get him and Victoria to accept Scientology. Only time will tell whether the powerful foursome manage to stay friends.

Paris and Benji Hit and Run

High-profile celebrity couple, Paris Hilton and Benji Madden, have been accused of allegedly driving over the foot of a paparrazi as they left a club in West Hollywood on Thursday night, before driving away.

Photographer Glen Gurniak has filed papers with the Los Angele's Sheriff's Department and told paparazzi agency Splash News Online that, "There were too many people that side of the car so he swung the wheels in my direction on the other side of the car and got my foot trapped under the wheel."

"I yelled at him: 'Dude, you've pinched my foot under the wheel, don't drive, don't drive,'" the pap said. "He turned and looked at me out of the window and then just drove. I fell to the floor as the car stopped and was just laying on the floor as everyone was screaming at him that he'd run me over."

The incident was captured on video by TMZ.com where a loud scream can be heard as the couple drives away.

Steve Witmore, a spokesman for the L.A. Sheriff's Department told Usmagazine.com that, "The incident is currently under investigation."

Pam Claims Tommy is the Love of her Life

Pamela Anderson has spoken out about her brief, two-month marriage to Rick Salomon on CNN's 'Larry King Live', claiming that "it never happened" and declaring that former husband Tommy Lee is "the love of my life."

Discussing her relationships with the host on Friday night (April 25), Anderson said of her marriage to Salomon, "Oh jeez... It never happened... It was an - well, it was an annulment so..."

When King prompted her saying, "An annulment means it never happened?", the former 'Baywatch' star responded with, "Yes. It never happened."

Anderson was asked about her relationship with Lee, whom she was previously married to and has two children with.

"[We're] very good friends," she explains. "Very, very, very good friends. [He's the] Love of my life. He's the father of my kids. It's probably part of my problem."

Again, prompted to explain herself, Anderson says, "We're like a family, a bit of a dysfunctional family I guess. He loves his kids and we love each other."

Winehouse Cautioned over Assault

Amy Winehouse has been given a caution by police after being arrested for allegedly headbutting a man outside of a bar in London on Wednesday night (April 23).

The singer handed herself into police on Friday and remained in custody overnight with her representative, Chris Goodman, releasing a statement saying that Winehouse had "admitted to a common assault by slapping a man with an open hand and accepted a caution."

"Amy was fully cooperative with inquiries and apologized for the incident," he said.

Megan Fox Tops Sexiest List

An emerging Hollywood actress has trumped over big-name beauties including as Heidi Klum, Jennifer Aniston and Cameron Diaz to be crowned the Sexiest Woman in the World, with the reader’s of FHM voting ‘Transformers’ star Megan Fox to the top of their annual sexiness poll.

Following her breakout performance in ‘Transformers’ last year, Fox – who is engaged for former ‘90210’ hottie Brian Austin Green – is currently filming ‘Jennifer’s Body’, a horror-comedy cheerleading flick penned by ‘Juno’ writer Diablo Cody.

Right behind Fox on the Sexiest Woman list was Jessica Biel, followed by last year's #1, Jessica Alba. Regular favourites Elisha Cuthbert and Scarlett Johansson completed the top five.

Scarlett Talks about her new Album?

Scarlett Johansson has spoken out about Hollywood starlets attempting to parlay their fame into musical careers, describing her own musical offering as “low-key” and in no way related to the manufactured pop of her Hollywood bretheren.

"I have no relationship with either Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton, even as far as my lifestyle or the music I listen to,” she says.

“They probably made music that fits with their lifestyle - 'Wouldn't it be great if I were dancing to my own song in the club?' "

Johansson, 23, is confident that her album will be well-received, telling Spin magazine, "My album is more suited to my lifestyle. I live a very low-key life."

Miranda Kerr Brings BF Home to Oz

Orlando Bloom’s current leading lady, Australian model Miranda Kerr, has revealed that the pair have taken their relationship to the next level, with Bloom set to met Kerr’s parents this week.

New York-based Kerr has returned to Australia for a brief visit for a work engagement, with her ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ beau in tow, she told fashion journalist Jen Melocco.

"I'm really happy he is here with me. Because we have such a busy schedule, we really try and spend as much time as possible together," she said.

She believes that Bloom will be a hit with her dad, John, because “my dad's happy if I'm happy", she says; “My dad is the most easy-going, relaxed guy.”

Kelly Brook is Single

'Titanic' actor Billy Zane and his fiancée, British model and actress Kelly Brook have broken off their engagement after four years together.

"We can confirm that Kelly and Billy have split," Brook's manager, John Fowler, told Usmagazine.com.

According to British reports, Brook, 24, wasn't wearing her engagement ring at a TV awards show at the weekend.

Brook met Zane, 42, while they were filming the thriller 'Three' in 2004.

Sandra Bullock In Car Crash!

Sandra Bullock was involved in a car accident on Friday night (April 18), after the vehicle she was travelling in was struck by a drunk driver in Gloucester, Massachusetts - however, no injuries were sustained in the accident.

Local media have reported that Bullock, who has been filming a new movie in the area, and her husband Jesse James were being driven to their hotel in Eastern Point, when a car jumped lanes and smashed into the front of the vehicle.

Lucille Gatchell, the 64-year-old driver of the offending Subaru station wagon, was arrested following a field sobriety test, where she registered two-and-a-half times the legal limit.

The Boston Herald attempted to contact Gatchell, who issued a "no comment" about the incident, with no statement being released by the couple.

Lt Gerry Cook of the Gloucester Police Department told the paper that, "It's unfortunate, but it shows you that no one is immune from drunk drivers, no matter how famous you are.

Paris' Parents: Benji is the real deal

Paris Hilton's parents have gone on record to say that they think her new boyfriend, Benji Madden, is "the real thing", and that they believe their daughter is "genuinely in love for the first time".

Hilton and the Good Charlotte rocker have been inseparable since they got together earlier this year, just days after Madden split from his fiance, Sophie Monk.

Discussing their daughter's latest romance, Hilton's father Rick Hilton told reporter Robin Leach, "He's the perfect example of 'don't judge a book by its cover'. He's polite, well-mannered - [he] even calls me sir! We love him like family already. Benji doesn't drink, doesn't smoke and is a healthy vegan!"

The heiress' mother, Kathy, adds, "He's changed her life - and I really think she's genuinely in love for the first time. He's so good to her and for her. We couldn't be happier for them. This has honestly become the real thing."

Hilton's parents also revealed that they've already given the couple their blessing, if they decide they want to get married.

"Since they've been together Paris has changed so much. She's calmed, stopped running and now has a very real purpose - and it's beautiful to see two wonderful people so perfect together. Marilyn Monroe Sex Tape?

A previously unreleased 15-minute sex tape featuring Marilyn Monroe has been sold for $1.5 million to a New York businessman, who plans to lock away the black-and-white film amid vows that he will never let it be shown publicly, as he refuses to “exploit” the 60s icon.

Keya Morgan, a memorabilia collector, recently arranged the sale of the silent film, saying, "The gentleman who bought it said [that] out respect for Marilyn, he's not going to make a joke of it and put it on the Internet and try to exploit her. That's not his intention and I would never get my name involved if that were to happen."

The tape, which was previously owned by the son of a late FBI informant, shows Monroe fully dressed while performing oral sex on a gentleman who’s face remains out of frame for the entire time.

The only other copy of the tape is reportedly locked away with the FBI, where it is sealed in classified files regarding the death of Monroe in 1962.

Hilton Apologizes To Kardashian

Paris Hilton has personally apologized to Kim Kardashian, after stating on Las Vegas radio that Kardashian's behind looked like "cottage cheese inside a big trash bag".

Hilton's appearance on the Chet Buchanan & The Morning Zoo show made headlines after the interview was posted on the web, with Hilton being asked what she thought of her former best friend.

"I would not want [Kim's butt] - it's gross!" the heiress said on the show. "It reminds me of cottage cheese inside a big trash bag."

Realizing that the comments went to far, Hilton offered her apologies to Kardashian, telling In Touch that, "I felt really bad afterward, so I contacted Kim and apologized. It was a silly thing to say. Kim's hot!"

Kardashian accepted the apology, saying, "Paris and I have been friends since we were kids and I'm glad she made the effort to say she's sorry."

Pete Wentz: Ashley is not pregnant!

Pete Wentz has denied tabloid rumors that his new fiance Ashlee Simpson is expecting a baby, telling MTV that "this is all news to me".

Magazines including OK! and US Weekly have declared that the pair were expecting, with both publications naming the preganancy as the reason for the couple's engagement announcement last week.

However, Wentz slams the reports, saying that they and in love and engaged - and that's it.

"There is a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood," Wentz wrote in an email to MTV News.

"This is all news to me. I can't wait for the story about how I'm really in a gay relationship and this is all just a cover... I mean, really, this is crazy... I mean we're engaged, that's true, and we're happy about it."

MTV then asked the Fall Out Boy bassist if this means that he is denying the pregnancy, to which he responded, "Yeah."

Kylie's US Sales Flop

Despite an agreesive marketing and promotional campaign, Kylie Minogue's new album 'X' has generated shockingly poor sales in its first week after debuting at a disappointing 139 on the US Billboard charts.

Following a massive week of promotion - which included interviews on the US Today show, a live performance on 'Dancing With The Stars', and a headline-grabbing chat with Ellen DeGeneres - Minogue's album has failed to rate a mention.

'X' debuted in the top spot in her native Australia and number 2 in Britain, but sold just 6,000 copies in the US in its first week on sale, according to the official results from Nielsen Soundscan.

A spokeperson for Minogue has brushed off the poor sales result, explaining to Reuters that many of her "core fans" had previously bought the album via import when it was released in other countries last year. They added that the marketing campaign was still in it's infancy.

Britney Has A Fender Bender

Britney Spears is back in the headines again, this time for being involved in a minor car accident on Saturday evening (April 12) in Los Angeles, when the pop star was driving and accidentally rear-ended another vehicle.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Spears ran into another car while driving on the 405 freeway in LA at approximately 8:30pm.

No-one was injured in the fender-bender, and no one received a ticket.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz Engaged

After months of speculation and false reports, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have announced that they are engaged, with Wentz posting a message on his website to say, "we are thrilled".

Gossip columns and tabloids have been speculating about a possible engagement for the couple for the past 12 months.

The pair confirmed the news on Wednesday (April 10), writing on Wentz's website:

"We know there has been a lot of speculation recently about Pete and I, and we wanted our fans to be the first to know, because you guys are the best. Yes, we are thrilled to share that we are happily engaged. Thank you for all of your support and well wishes - it means the world to us. We consider this to be a very private matter, but we wanted you to hear it straight from us."

Mischa Barton Gets 3 Years Probation

Mischa Barton pleaded no contest to a driving under the influence (DUI) charge on Thursday (April 10) following her arrest in December when authorities pulled her over for "straddling two lanes of traffic" and failing to signal while making a turn.

The former star of televison's 'The O.C.', who was also charged with driving without a license and possession of marijuana, was put on three years probation, ordered to take an alcohol education program for three-months and was fined $1,652.

As part of her no contest plea, 22-year-old Barton had the marijuana possession charges dropped.

Her attorney, Anthony Salerno, addressed reporters following the ruling saying, "She understands the gravity of this whole thing and that she made a mistake. But I'm sure she's glad that it is resolved, and she obviously has some work to do."

Barton was not in court for the hearing.

Fists Fly on Howard Stern Show

Shock jock Howard Stern was finally left speechless yesterday after a brawl erupted inside his Sirius Satellite studio between his hard-partying sidekick Artie Lange and Lange's assistant, Teddy, which ended with Lange's quitting the show.

The bickering started off air in the morning, in the hallway adjacent to Stern's studio. Show staffers overheard Lange screaming at Teddy because Teddy asked him for his passport for the fourth time as he planned their flight to Amsterdam, which was set to take off last night. Lange told Teddy he should have photocopied the passport the first time. Stern was told they had been bickering and brought it up on air. When Teddy came in to defend himself, Lange snapped.

"He's a loser," yelled Lange, "He's the most unorganized assistant. I want to fire him, but he has no money. I hope he dies of AIDS."

Lange, who pays Teddy $24,000 a year for part-time work, then accused Teddy of embarrassing him in front of friends last week in LA when he called Bloomingdale's department store by its nickname, Bloomie's, and announced the store didn't have something in Lange's size.

"I think I hired a fag," said Lange. "I wanted to throw him out the window."

Lange then threw a cup of water at Teddy and lunged at him, throwing a punch that didn't land. Show writer Benjy Bronk jumped on Lange and held him back, while Ronnie "The Limo Driver" Mund burst in to get Teddy out of the studio.

Lange blamed Stern for the fight, saying that Stern "pushed" him to the breaking point and that he couldn't guarantee he wouldn't snap again in the future. He then told Stern he loved him and resigned.

"Don't ever mention Bloomie's around the guy," Stern sighed.

One show insider says that the staff loves Lange and is "extremely upset" but that it's out of Stern's hands and that Sirius management will soon decide Lange's fate. The show is on a break next week. Both Lange and Teddy failed to return calls for comment. Lange was last spotted by a fan at the Brooklyn Diner on West 57th, drowning his sorrows in a plate of food.

Beyonce Gets Hitched

Multiple sources say that Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles tied the knot at the rapper's apartment in NYC's Tribeca neighborhood Friday night, although their reps will not confirm.

"It was amazing - very special, very private, very intimate," a source tells Us. "Everyone had so much fun. It ended up being a wild party. DJ Cassidy was spinning and people partied until 4:30 a.m."

Former Destiny's Child singers Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin were among the guests who attended the ceremony. A Reverend was also spotted.

The singer donned a veil and a white dress with a low V-neck and thick straps. Her hair was in a half ponytail with ringlet curls, decorated with a white flower.

Beyonce's father, Mathew Knowles, spoke about his daughter's nuptials in business meetings Friday.

"Beyonce's dad said he's sorry he couldn't have invited [more people] to the wedding, but they're keeping it small," a source close to the family tells Usmagazine.com.

Early Friday, white checked linens were delivered, as well as boxes of white flowers. Tall silver candelabras were stacked on the street. A white tent was visible on the roof of the building.

Jay-Z, 38, and Beyonce, 26, have always dodged questions about tying the knot. Reps for the two wouldn't confirm that they took out a marriage license in Scarsdale, New York on Tuesday.

In 2007, the always tight-lipped rapper would only tell reporters: "One day soon - let's leave it at that."

KFed's Big Weekend

LOS ANGELES - Kevin Federline might play the part of the pauper to his pop princess ex-wife Britney Spears, but in Las Vegas he is king.

Federline spent over $43,000 on Las Vegas hotels, dining and shopping between May 2007 and January of this year, according to documents filed by Federline's attorney in his custody battle with Spears. The documents were released by the Superior Court on Thursday.

The tabs included $1,445 for clothing at Gianni Versace, $3,863 at TAO nightclub, and $3,008 at the Hard Rock Beach Club. He appears determined not to be branded a cheap tipper. At Scores strip club, he dropped a cool $2,000 on a $365 meal bill.

Meanwhile, his company, Gooseneck Productions, Inc., spent $841,129 in 2007 while earning $544,075, according to the documents. The aspiring rapper also spent big on attempts to prop up his struggling music career.

Federline had $74,102 in "music production" expenses, but earned only $9,849 in "music income," according to the documents, which did not elaborate. The Superior Court commissioner dealing with the Federline-Spears custody battle has consistently awarded Federline attorneys fees.

In March, Spears' divorce attorney, Stacy Phillips, argued that Federline's attorneys were overbilling, and her client should not be required to pay. Phillips said that Federline tipped extravagantly. Indeed, a credit card statement showed a $1,100 tip for a $2,782 bill at a Los Angeles restaurant.

Federline still owed $343,834 in fees to his attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, when the documents released Thursday were filed in January. Spears pays her ex-husband $15,000 per month in child support for 2-year-old Sean Preston and 1-year-old Jayden James. Her monthly spousal support payments of $20,000 ended in November.

The accounting statement mixes personal expenses, like $1,500 per week for a nanny to care for the two toddlers, and business expenses, like $2,500 per month for his manager. The bulk of Federline's income came from his work on a Nationwide car insurance commercial that aired during the Super Bowl. Federline was paid $377,000 for playing a fry cook who dreams of being a rap star, wearing fur coats and flashing huge diamond rings.

He earned $15,000 for appearing at his 29th birthday party at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas, and $50,000 for a series of appearances at Las Vegas clubs in December 2007.
Federline also pays $18,228 per month in child support, rent and private school tuition for his two children from a previous relationship.

Shakira Denies Sex Tape Allegations

What appears to be an April Fools Day joke has been exposed as just that, with a representative for singer Shakira denying the existence of a sex tape involving her boyfriend and another singer, labelling the claims as "baseless and malicious".

Insiders report that the rumor was started when Argentinean radio announcer Javier Ceriani stated, "It’s been said a lot these days that there is a private video recorded on a yacht, one that could implicate Alejandro Sanz, Shakira and [her boyfriend] Antonio de la Rúa, but that tape is in the hands of the courts."

A representative for Shakira has denied the tape exists, describing the claim as "totally absurd".

"This is a false rumor. This is totally absurd any way you look at it. There is no possibility that such a video exists. It is a baseless and malicious rumor."

K-Fed Denies Trip With Britney

Kevin Federline has denied a US tabloids claim that he is planning a holiday to Hawaii with his ex-wife Britney Spears to try and salvage their relationship.

Star magazine reports that the pair are looking at taking a trip to Maui, "far from the glare of Hollywood to work on their relationship."

The article quotes a 'family friend' as saying that "Kevin wants to take Britney away to see if there is anything to salvage between them. When he suggested it to her, she told him she was ready to go anytime he was."

However, a representative for Federline has denied the tabloid story saying it's "not true."
