Jenna Jameson Confirms Pregnancy

Former adult film star Jenna Jameson has announced that she is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Tito Ortiz.

Jameson told Usmagazine on Monday (August 25), “Yes, I can confirm I’m pregnant. It’s still early, so I’m being cautious. I’m resting as much as possible. I’m so happy!”

The couple “are still in a state of shock,” with the 34-year-old saying, “I’m just staying super healthy.”

Shannen Doherty: No Fight with Jennie Garth

Shannen Doherty has denied accusations by her former ‘Beverly Hills 90210′ co-star Tori Spelling, that a fistfight erupted with Jennie Garth prior to her leaving the show in the nineties.

The 37-year-old actress, who will reprise her role as Brenda Walsh in the new spin-off ‘90210′, tells Usmagazine that there was no truth to the story.

“We never did,” she explains. “I think I would remember Jennie’s fist connecting with a part of my body or a part of my face.

“It just goes to show you how people will lie.”

Jessica Simpson's Man Not Calling Ex

Jessica Simpson has denied comments made by Carrie Underwood in a recent interview that Tony Romo still calls her, with Simpson saying, “We got a chuckle out of that.”

Underwood, who used to date the Dallas Cowboys star, told Allure magazine in September, “The phone will ring and it’ll be him, and I’ll maybe not answer. We were both small town people doing very big things, and we relied on each other, dealing with fame.”

During an interview on Wednesday (August 20) with Nashville radio station 107.5 The River, Simpson said, “Tony and I both laughed at that. We got a chuckle out of it.”

She explains, “If Tony wanted to call her or be with her, he would.”

When asked if she’s sure Underwood isn’t telling the truth, she joked, “Definitely. I looked at his call log!”

Simpson also denied that photos showing her wearing a t-shirt with the slogan ‘Real Girls Eat Meat’ was not a stab at Romo’s ex, who’s a vegetarian.

“I thought it was funny,” she explained. “I wore it because I thought it was funny. I don’t know what Carrie eats… I did not know that she was a vegetarian and it definitely was not a diss on her by any means.”

Miley Cyrus is about to turn 16 and you can celebrate with her at California’s Disneyland to help raise money for Youth Service America.

The ‘Hannah Montana’ star will perform on the night with a limited number of tickets available to the public for $250 each.

“It’s gonna be totally awesome,” Cyrus tells Entertainment Tonight. “I’m not going to give too much away about my birthday party because some of it is even a surprise for me, you don’t really know how it’s going to go until you get there.”

Superman Returns?

Warner Bros. is set to revive the ‘Superman’ franchise again, despite the disappointing 2006 movie that starred Brandon Routh as the caped crusader.

Plans for two movies, ‘Batman vs Superman’ and ‘The Justice League,’ featuring the superhero have stalled with Warner Bros. Pictures Group President Jeff Robinov casting those ideas aside to start afresh.

“‘Superman’ didn’t quite work as a film in the way that we wanted it to,” Robinov tells the Wall Street Journal. “It didn’t position the character the way he needed to be positioned.”

He adds, “Had ‘Superman’ worked in 2006, we would have had a movie for Christmas of this year or 2009. But now the plan is just to reintroduce Superman without regard to a Batman and Superman movie at all.”

Hinting at the direction they’ll take the next installment Robinov says they’ll take Batman’s ‘The Dark Knight’ approach saying, “We’re going to try to go dark to the extent that the characters allow it.”

Briteny Reveals Her Diet Secrets

Britney Spears has revealed the secrets to her recent weight loss in a new interview stating, “I’m the healthiest I’ve been all my life.”

The 26-year-old pop princess is gradually returning to the spotlight for the right reasons, after two years of public turmoil including a mental breakdown and losing custody of her two sons.

However, under the guidance of her father Jamie, Spears has taken control of her life and says health is playing a big part.

“I’m the healthiest I’ve been all my life,” Spears tells OK! magazine. “My diet has a lot to do with my getting into shape. I have no sugar. I don’t eat fruit or even fruit juice because of the sugar. I eat chicken and salmon and rice. I eat avocados. I’ll have egg whites for breakfast and sometimes turkey burgers for lunch.”

She adds, “I try to do just 1,200 calories a day. It may sound like it’s not much, but it’s actually a lot of food if you eat the right things.”

Spears, who appears in the magazine in a white bikini, also said she’s been hitting the gym, doing “lots of cardio and weights” every week.

Avril Concert Cancelled: Deemed too sexy?

Avril Lavigne’s upcoming Malaysian concert has been canceled by the country’s Arts, Culture and Heritage Ministry after protests deemed the show “too sexy.”

The popstar was set to kick-off her Asian tour in Kuala Lumpur on August 29, two days before their independence day, with the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party opposed to the concert.

“It is considered too sexy for us.” Kamarulzaman Mohamed told The Associated Press. “It’s not good for viewers in Malaysia. We don’t want our people, our teenagers, influenced by their performance. We want clean artists, artists that are good role models.”

Following a decision by the culture ministry on Tuesday (August 19), Shukran Ibrahim announced, “It is not timely. It’s not in the good spirit of our National Day. If we go ahead with the concert, it is contrary to what we are preparing for.

JLo Training For Triathlon

Jennifer Lopez is training hard to complete a triathlon on September 14, hoping to raise money for the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and was voted the most inspiring woman of 2008 by Self magazine.

The 39-year-old singer-actress will take part in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon next month and decided to compete while she was eight months pregnant.

Appearing on Good Morning America on Monday (August 18) Lopez said, “I was beached like a whale. I was watching TV, and I saw a triathlon and I said, ‘You know what? I think I could do that, that would be great for me to do. Maybe I’ll do it this year.’”

Lopez, who gave birth to twins Max and Emme on February 22 this year (2008), is determined to finish the race telling Self, “I don’t expect to win this race; my goal is to finish. I’ll probably end up crawling across the finish line, but I’ll do it!”

Jamie Spears talks about Britney

Jamie Spears has opened up about his famous daughter Britney and her tumultuous couple of years, saying his relationship with her is “wonderful.”

Britney’s dad stepped in and took over control of her life, including her finances, businesses and personal relationships, after she suffered a very public breakdown earlier this year.

In an interview with OK! magazine, Spears says, “We’ve grown a lot. I’ve been able to come back into my daughter’s life, and that was an adjustment anyway, because I’m an alcoholic and it’s the first time we’ve really been able to share.”

He reveals that Britney’s custody arrangement with her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, includes the pop star having them on Monday, Wednesday and an overnight on Friday, with his company.

Spears also has nothing but praise for his daughter’s ex-husband, Kevin Federline, saying, “Kevin has a wonderful heart. I don’t agree with giving him more money… He wants them to raise these kids together. Kevin’s heart is right.”

Additionally, he says that the turmoil in Britney’s life has brought them closer together explaining, “She sometimes calls me 50 times a day and asks me things that light my life up. But, like all daughters, she is very manipulative and cunning. So she gets what she wants a lot.”

Britney Gives First Interview in Two Years

Britney Spears has conducted her first interview in two years, opening up about her children, her parents and her career, revealing she’s busy recording her new album and that it’s “my best work ever.”

During the interview, Spears says she’d love her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, to have a normal life and not follow her path into the entertainment industry.

“I’d love them unconditionally if they wanted to,” she explains to OK!. “I’d just as soon they have a more normal childhood.”

Jamie Spears, her father and the man responsible for stepping in when his daughter’s life was spiraling out of control, tells the magazine he’s happy he’s back in her life.

“God has a way of taking something bad and turning it into something good,” he says. “If this hadn’t happened, I would never have been able to get back with my daughter and have this relationship I have with these two little boys.”

The 26-year-old pop star also reveals that her new album will be out within the next six to nine months saying, “I think it is more urban. I’m writing every day, right here at the piano in this living room… This is my best work ever.”

Lohan Addresses Sisters Implant Rumors

Lindsay Lohan has addressed rumors that her 14-year-old sister has had breast enlargement surgery, writing, “people are sooooo bored with their own lives that they need to manifest lies to hurt another person.”

The reports started after comparisons between photos of the younger Lohan appear to show a rapid development in her chest size.

Lohan took to her MySpace to dismiss the rumor, saying:

i was caught out of nowhere so i didn’t really come up with the proper response at the time.. there’s many other things that i felt like saying, but why give it to a random guy with a camera so that he can make money!
All i am trying to say is, is that, i was raised with a wonderful family surrounding me, of course we have our ups and downs, but all in all my mother taught us to appreciate what we have been given. Nor would she ever encourage, or allow a 14 year old child to alter her body.
i am not judging people that do, but i am just saying that its not something that my family finds necessary to do, especially when you’re not even fully developed yet!
It is hard enough being 14 years old and you have enough insecurities to begin with, then add being in the public eye…
i just find it really disconcerting that people have to focus on the negative and that some people are sooooo bored with their own lives that they need to manifest lies to hurt another person.

Paris Hilton Working On Superhero Cartoon

After setting the web alight this week with her parody video responding to U.S. Presidential nominee John McCain, Paris Hilton has revealed she's developing a cartoon superhero for a new tv series.

In an interview with San Diego City Beat, Hilton explained that she's working with comic legend Stan Lee, who is responsible for Spider-man, Fantastic Four, The Hulk and X-Men among others.

"I've created a superhero with Stan Lee, which is [based on] me," Hilton said. "We're doing a cartoon right now with MTV."

Britney Not Selling Cabo Pix

Reports that Britney Spears’ camp has offered to sell candid shots of the popstar during a recent trip to Cabo, Mexico to the media are false, her rep said Wednesday (August 6).

According to the New York Post, an unnamed source claims that recent photos that appeared of Spears in a bikini was “set up by her camp.”

The source adds that Spears “has brokered a series of shots that she’s offering exclusively to a celebrity weekly for US$1 million.”

However, her rep tells the Post, “If someone is trying to sell photos of Britney in Cabo, they’re doing so without her knowledge or permission.”

Mary-Kate Olsen Addresses Heath Ledger Drug Reports

A lawyer representing Mary-Kate Olsen has addressed rumors surrounding her knowledge of the drugs that led to Heath Ledger’s death earlier this year.

Reports have surfaced that Olsen is seeking immunity from prosecution prior to providing further details about Ledger’s death due to an accidental drug overdose in January, prompting her lawyer, Michael C. Miller, releasing a statement on Monday (August 4).

“Despite tabloid speculation, Mary-Kate Olsen had nothing whatsoever to do with the drugs found in Heath Ledger’s home or his body, and she does not know where he obtained them,” Miller states.

“Regarding the government’s investigation, at Ms. Olsen’s request, we have provided the government with relevant information including facts in the chronology of events surrounding Mr. Ledger’s death and the fact that Ms. Olsen does not know the source of the drugs Mr. Ledger consumed.”

He continues, “We don’t know the source of the information being quoted in the media regarding the government’s inquiry, but these descriptions are incomplete and inaccurate.”

Lindsay Lohan: Mind your own business

Lindsay Lohan took a shot at Los Angeles Police Chief William Bratton on Friday (August 1), following his comments to the media that she had “gone gay” with reported girlfriend, Samantha Ronson.

Bratton was addressing the media on Thursday (July 31) regarding a hearing to enforce stricter paparazzi laws, when he said, “If you notice, since Britney (Spears) started wearing clothes and behaving, Paris (Hilton) is out of town not bothering anybody, thank God; and evidently, Lindsay Lohan has gone gay, we don’t seem to have much of an issue.”

Lohan, who was ironically confronted by the paparazzi at LA International Airport when she commented to TMZ, responded, “Police chief’s shouldn’t get involved in everybody else’s business or their personal lives. It’s inappropriate.”

LaBeouf's injury to be added in Transformers 2

Hollywood director Michael Bay has hinted that Shia LaBeouf’s hand injury, sustained after he crashed his vehicle last Sunday morning (July 27), may be written into ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’.

Talking to Access Hollywood, Bay said, “His fingers are pretty mashed, but we’re figuring out a way to shoot around it, kind of write it in the story.”

LaBeouf was attempting to make a left-hand turn in Hollywood when authorities say another car ran a red light and crashed into the 22-year-old’s vehicle.

The actor was arrested on a misdemeanor DUI, however, Bay says that charge won’t stick.

“You’re gonna see - that’s gonna go away,” he explains. “That’s fresh news… He was not drunk. He was drinking hours and hours before.

“The kid really has his head together… He’s doing a great job on this movie. He’s really matured since the last one and I love working with him.”
