Hayden Panettiere Has No Time For College

Unlike other actresses like Emma Watson and Natalie Portman who headed to college after their big break as teen stars, Heroes star Hayden Panettiere isn't planning on hitting the books anytime soon...or ever....

The 20-year-old says that being on the hit sci-fi TV show has given her all the smarts she needs:

"I always wanted to go to college (but) the show happened to start in a pretty pivotal period, when you have thoughts of going to college. It was just such a success and it is what I love to do. I would love to take some classes that I really enjoy, but I think college is a learning experience for yourself as a person and (it's about) being on your own for the first time."

Eva Longoria Going Back To School?

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria is going back to school to study up on her heritage, the actress told Mexican mag Hola this week.

The publication quotes Longoria as saying she plans to enroll in a master’s program in Chicano studies and political science, adding she wants to “learn more about the history of the country we come from.”

No further details on where the 34-year-old, who’s family hails from the Mexican city of Monterey, will study has been revealed at the time of writing.

Katherine Heigl Finalizes Adoption?

Actress Katherine Heigl and her musician husband Josh Kelley have finalised their adoption of a 10-month-old baby girl from Korea.

The couple have named their first child Nancy Leigh, after the actress' mother Nancy and her sister Margaret Leigh, but have already nicknamed her Naleigh.

Heigl and Kelley began the adoption process for little Naleigh - who was delivered on 23 November - six months ago.

The Grey's Anatomy actress revealed earlier this month the couple's applications were quickly processed, because their daughter has special needs.

Heigl explained, "She is a special needs baby and because of that it all moved so much faster. They wanted to get her to us as quickly as possible."

A spokesperson for the actress says both parents and child are together and doing well.

Actress CHARLIZE THERON suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

The Oscar winner admits the anxiety-based condition has turned her into a clean-freak and she can't function when her house isn't tidy.

Theron says, "I have a serious problem, it's a real disease and millions of people actually suffer from this, it's an obsessive-compulsive disorder. I have a bit of it. I don't do counting or any of that stuff, but I have a real thing about chaos. I am good with chaos, I just don't like it when chaos is hidden. I have a problem with cabinets being messy and people just shoving things in cabinets and closing the door. You can't. I really, really lie in bed and (am) not able to sleep because I think, 'I saw something in that cabinet that just shouldn't be there.'"
