Lily Allen vs. Courtney Love?

Lily Allen denies that she became embroiled in a scrap with Courtney Love at this week’s NME Awards in London, but still pulled out the claws for one quick swipe at the Hole rocker. Read what she had to say after the jump.

According to reports, the pair struck up a conversation backstage at the awards, which quickly turned heated and allegedly involved third parties pulling them apart.

Love then did what she does well, headed for Twitter:

“so i reserve my bile ( dont worry shell slag me off cos we got into a BIG fight) for someone who NOONE i know likes calls herself”relevant”

i mean ive been nice as pie to this one, endured countless attacks and said nothing refers to self as “relevant” about every t10 minutes

im not lowering myself to name her but she vibed me and i was having so much fun and hiss meow so i confronted her ” what IS yr problem”

“why did ou say that about me” she screamed hissing, hh? i conplimeted her ashion powers, “what?say what” then ensueing, then i cant get it

Allen then responded, also via Twitter:

‘just clearing a couple of things up. Courtney Love and I did NOT have a bust up at the NME’S. There was an exchange of words, yes

she’s upset because she has got it into her head that i put a lock on some dresses for the brit awards. she’s made no secret of this and when i saw her at the NME’S she tried to talk to me and i told her to shut up stop spreading stupid rumours about me.

and thats pretty much it. i would never fight with her , as a rule i don’t pick on crazy old ladies.”

Charlie Sheen Goes To Rehab

Charlie Sheen's rep announced Tuesday that the Two and a Half Men star will take a break from the hit tv show to enter a rehabilitation facility again, just a fortnight after his wife, Brooke Mueller, did the same thing.

"As a preventative measure, Charlie Sheen has entered a rehabilitation facility," Sheen's publicist, Stan Rosenfield, said in a a statement. "He will take some time off his series Two and a Half Men. He has asked that his privacy be honored."

The couple made headlines on Christmas Day (2009) after an argument erupted at their Colorado holiday home, with Sheen being arrested for felony menacing and misdemeanor charges of third-degree assault and criminal mischief after he allegedly threatened her with a knife.

"CBS, Warner Bros. Television and [executive producer] Chuck Lorre support Charlie Sheen in his decision today to begin voluntary inpatient care at a treatment centre," a statement from CBS, producers of Sheen's show, said.

"We wish him nothing but the best as he deals with this personal matter."

Tiger Woods broke his silence on Friday morning (Feb 19), reading a pre-prepared statement of purpose apologizing for his infidelities saying, "I was unfaithful, I had affairs, I cheated... I am the only person to blame."

Tiger Woods Making Steps Back To Public Life?

Tiger Woods is making his first step back into the public arena since explosive allegations that the golf champ has had numerous affairs with multiple women, announcing plans to make a statement on Friday (Feb 19).

The following message was posted on Woods’ official website saying:

“Tiger Woods will be speaking to a small group of friends, colleagues and close associates at 11:00 a.m. EST on Friday at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. Tiger plans to discuss his past and his future, and he plans to apologize for his behavior.

While Tiger feels that what happened is fundamentally a matter between him and his wife, he also recognizes that he has hurt and let down a lot of other people who were close to him. He also let down his fans. He wants to begin the process of making amends, and that’s what he’s going to discuss.

His remarks will be open to a press pool for live coverage. It is NOT a news conference.”

Jamie-Lynn Spears Is Single

Jamie Lynn Spears and boyfriend Casey Aldridge have split, according to sources close to the couple, and the former Nickelodeon star is now moving on in a new relationship with Hammond, Louisiana, businessman James Watson.

"She's going through a lot of changes," says a Spears family friend. "It has been painful. She's a young mother and struggling in a lot of areas."

Spears moved out of the Liberty, Mississipi, house she shared with Aldridge and their 19-month-old daughter, Maddie, about six weeks ago and is now living with her mother, Lynne, according to sources.

The teenagers had planned to marry after Spears, then 16, became pregnant, gave birth to their daughter and set up house together. After a wreck last April that landed Aldridge in the ICU after he crashed his truck, a family source said that Aldridge was "thinking a little more seriously about things." Still, a wedding never materialized.

"She did a lot of growing up but he didn't," says a source. "I think she put up with more than she cared to put up with. She just got enough of it and was tired of the situation."

Spears, 18, has recently begun dating Watson, 28, who owns a multimedia company close to Kentwood, Louisiana, according to a Spears family friend, who says, "he seems to be a nice guy."

Watson would not comment on his relationship with Spears. A rep for Spears has not commented on the status of their relationship nor her split from Aldridge.
Rather than stay in their former home alone, Aldridge is doing long-term construction work in another state, according to a source who spoke to him about the break-up.

Alba's Marriage Rage

Jessica Alba hated the idea of getting married.

The star took a while before agreeing to tie the knot with Cash Warren as she was determined not to "obey" her husband and feels the tradition of marriage has been warped.

Jessica - who has a 19-month-old daughter, Honor Marie, with Cash - said: "I had a hard time agreeing with marriage at all because I feel like its been warped. Originally, it was two families coming together to make a stronger family. It was about survival – not love or soulmates. And now the way they market marriage – even as a kid through Disney movies – is that it's all about Prince Charming sweeping you off your feet.

"There's this mentality that you need the big dress and the big day – the day every girl gets to be a princess. I didn't agree with any of that. This tradition of obeying your husband like he's your king? It's a load of crap. Love and honour, yes. But you should love and honour yourself too, and all your friends."

The 28-year-old actress – who married Cash in May 2008 – eventually accepted his proposal because she knew they would stick together through "thick and thin".

She told Cosmopolitan magazine: "I chose to get married because, essentially, you're given a deck of cards in life. The hand you were dealt with is your family and you can't choose them. But the one person you can choose to bring into your life as your family and to have that unconditional love with is your husband and wife. I'm choosing you as my family and we're going to love each other through thick and thin."
