Solange Knowles Has Wardrobe Malfunction In NYC

Knowles, little sister of Beyonce, has accidentally revealed a little too much while having her photo taken at a fashion show in New York on Monday (Feb 16).

The nip-slip pic, taken at the Toni Maticevski Fall 2009 show, has found it’s way onto the web, with the singer posting a number of messages on Twitter about her wardrobe malfunction.

“I always wear undies, never been carried out of the club drunk, I won’t even pose for King or any ‘eye candy’ type shoots and now look,” she tweeted. “My shit on display for all the world to see.”

She jokes, “I’m wearing turtlenecks for the rest of the year gosh dammit.”

Beyonce Introduces Sasha Fierce

Beyonce had a little surprise up her sleeve for her fans on Wednesday (October 22), when she announced that her new album will actually be a double album and is called ‘I Am… Sasha Fierce.’

“The new record is a double album and has two covers, like a magazine would have two covers,” Beyonce said in a press release. “One of the covers is named ‘I Am…’ and the second cover is named ‘Sasha Fierce’. That is my alter ego and now she has a last name. I have someone else that takes over when it’s time for me to work and when I’m on stage, this alter ego that I’ve created that kind of protects me and who I really am.

“That’s why half the record, ‘I Am…,’ is about who I am underneath all the makeup, underneath the lights, and underneath all the exciting star drama. And ‘Sasha Fierce’ is the fun, more sensual, more aggressive, more outspoken side and more glamorous side that comes out when I’m working and when I’m on the stage.

This will be the first album of new material since the singer released her ‘B’Day’ album in 2006 adding, “The double album allows me to take more risks and really step out of myself, or shall I say, step more into myself, and reveal a side of me that people only know me see.”

‘I Am… Sasha Fierce’ will be released on November 18.

Beyonce Gets Hitched

Multiple sources say that Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles tied the knot at the rapper's apartment in NYC's Tribeca neighborhood Friday night, although their reps will not confirm.

"It was amazing - very special, very private, very intimate," a source tells Us. "Everyone had so much fun. It ended up being a wild party. DJ Cassidy was spinning and people partied until 4:30 a.m."

Former Destiny's Child singers Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin were among the guests who attended the ceremony. A Reverend was also spotted.

The singer donned a veil and a white dress with a low V-neck and thick straps. Her hair was in a half ponytail with ringlet curls, decorated with a white flower.

Beyonce's father, Mathew Knowles, spoke about his daughter's nuptials in business meetings Friday.

"Beyonce's dad said he's sorry he couldn't have invited [more people] to the wedding, but they're keeping it small," a source close to the family tells Usmagazine.com.

Early Friday, white checked linens were delivered, as well as boxes of white flowers. Tall silver candelabras were stacked on the street. A white tent was visible on the roof of the building.

The rapper named his club 40/40 after a baseball term. (If a player hits 40 home runs and steals 40 bases in the same season, it's considered a major coup.)

The couple also have matching IV tattoos on their ring fingers, and they were each born on the fourth day of a month (Beyonce on September 4; Jay-Z, December 4).

Jay-Z, 38, and Beyonce, 26, have always dodged questions about tying the knot. Reps for the two wouldn't confirm that they took out a marriage license in Scarsdale, New York on Tuesday.

In 2007, the always tight-lipped rapper would only tell reporters: "One day soon - let's leave it at that."

Are kids next for the couple?

"One day I hope to be married with children" Beyonce told Ellen DeGeneres in 2006.

"I don't want to retire at 30, I want to relax," she said. "I still want to make albums and movies, but at a slower pace."

Beyonce Does Sports Illustrated Cover

LOS ANGELES - Tyra Banks marks a modeling milestone next week, and is donning a decade-old bikini to celebrate the special anniversary.

Ten years ago, Banks became the first black supermodel to appear alone on the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition. The 2007 edition, which has a music theme, features 25-year-old singer and "Dreamgirls" actress Beyonce on the cover wearing a yellow-and-pink bikini.


Sports Illustrated said Beyonce is the first nonmodel/nonathlete to appear as the main subject on the cover of the swimsuit issue. The inside of the magazine features scantily clad models posing with Kanye West, Aerosmith, Kenny Chesney, Gnarls Barkley and Panic! At the Disco. A five-page spread featuring model Anne Vyalitsyna was shot at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland.

Banks, 33, recently returned to the Bahamas to recreate the shoot that landed her on the coveted Sports Illustrated cover, even wearing the same red polka dot bikini — with a few adjustments.

"I was about 140 pounds on that cover ... and I'm 161 now," the 5-foot-10 TV host told The Associated Press on Tuesday. "I'd say I looked like a stripper when I put it on."

Banks, who retired from modeling in 2005, said some extra fabric was added to make the bikini a little less itsy-bitsy.

"They covered the sides of my chest so that it wasn't so much hangin' out. And they put some extenders on the sides of the bikini bottom so it fit," she said.

Last month, Banks, who hosts the syndicated "The Tyra Banks Show" and the CW network's "America's Next Top Model," was mocked on the Internet for unflattering photos showing her in a one-piece bathing suit.

In the AP Radio interview, Banks said she considered going on a crash diet before the Bahamas shoot to look the same as she did 10 years ago, but then thought better of it.

"I think there's more power in embracing what I am now and showcasing that," she said.

"I'm thinking that I should probably do this every 10 years," she continued. "So, in 2017 maybe I'll get in the swimsuit again and I'll have to get them to add a little more fabric."

Banks will show the results on Monday's episode of her talk show.
