Britney Spears Stops Concert Due To Smoking

Britney Spears was forced to stop mid-way through a concert on Wednesday night, after the arena became too smoky for the crew to continue, with some falling ill as a result.

During Spears’ show in Vancouver, Canada, the singer stopped performing and walked offstage, with reports of an announcement asking people to stop smoking marijuana.

The singer’s rep issued a statement about the incident, saying, “We want to apologize to all the fans who attended our Vancouver show tonight for the brief pause in Britney’s set. Crew members above the stage became ill due to a ventilation issue.”

Britney Spears Hanging With Nine Inch Nails?

Britney Spears and Nine Inch Nails have been holed up in the same rehearsal facility preparing for their respective tours, with Trent Reznor saying it’s been “a treat” working closely with the pop princess.

“I can hear the thumping low end of Britney Spears,” Reznor explained in a recent interview. ”It’s been a treat having them here the whole time we’ve been here.”

Spears’ manager Adam Leber responded via a post on Spears’ website saying, ”Brit has been sharing the same rehearsal space with NIN for the past few weeks and they are getting along famously.”

He jokes, “Maybe we should ask Trent Reznor to remix Circus?”

Britney Cuts Ties with Old Acquaintances

Attorneys for Britney Spears filed a petition for a restraining order on Friday (January 30), to be brought against her former manager Sam Lutfi and ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib.

Both were involved with Spears during her infamous breakdown, and have kept their distance since the pop star began to turn her life back around.

Los Angeles Superior Court public information officer Vania Stuelp told E! News that although the restraining order papers have been filed, the judge wants to review the documents prior to making them public.

Britney Spears Breaks More Records

Britney Spears' comeback is now officially complete, with her latest release 'Circus' selling over 505,000 copies in the US, and becoming the first female artist in music history to have five number one album debuts.

Additionally, 'Circus' hit the top spot on the Digital Albums chart and is sitting at number one in six countries including Canada, Switzerland, Mexico, Brazil, Japan and is top 10 in another seven countries.

Kevin Federline Reveals His Side Of The Story

With so much coverage dedicated to Britney Spears over the past few months, Kevin Federline has taken the opportunity to speak about his side of the story.

In a chat with People magazine, Federline opens up discussing whether he fought for custody of their children because of money and his reaction to his ex-wife’s personal problems earlier this year.

“That whole night is a blur,” he reveals of the night Spears locked herself in a bathroom with their son Jayden, only to be forcibly removed from her home on a gurney. “You want to talk about one of my lowest points of depression, that was probably one of them.

“I was very, very worried for her ’cause I care about her. That’s the mother of my children. Just because I’m not in love with her doesn’t mean that I don’t love her. I’m definitely rooting for her. There’s nothing more that I want than for her to be in the best health and doing what she loves to do.”

The 30-year-old also answers questions about the custody battle with Spears and speculation he only did it for the money.

“My first question to [my lawyer] was, ‘Am I ever going to be able to see my children?’” he explains. “I told him that I would spend every last dime that I had to make sure that my children are okay. That’s all that mattered. I didn’t know how much power Britney had. That really scared me.”

Britney Spears Feels Old?

Britney Spears graces the cover of the latest edition of Rolling Stone and talks about how her children have learned “the f-word” and reveals, “I just feel like an old fart”.

The Spears hype machine is leading up to this weekend’s release of her new album ‘Circus’, the first release since her public meltdown, with the singer giving a candid interview to the mag.

“I feel like an old person now,” she explains. “I do! I go to bed at, like, 9:30 every night, and I don’t go out or anything, you know what I mean? I just feel like an old fart.”

The 26-year-old opens up about life with her two sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston, saying, “Every time they come to visit me, I think about how they’re such special people. Like, they’re going to preschool now! I went there to pick them up on Friday, and seeing them in their little classroom and seeing Jayden being bad or not listening? It’s like, those are mine, and it’s just crazy, you know what I mean?”

Spears also talks about how things in her life didn’t go according to plan saying, “I didn’t think my husband was gonna leave me. Otherwise, I’d be with my babies 24/7. But since they’re almost like twins, they both take care of each other.

“I think they look like me,” she continues. “They don’t look like their father [Kevin Federline] at all. And it’s weird ’cause they’re starting to learn words like ’stupid,’ and Preston says the f-word now sometimes. He doesn’t get it from us. He must get it from his daddy. I say it, but not around my kids.”

Britney’s Dad Awarded Permanent Conservatorship

A Los Angeles court has ruled Jamie Spears as the permanent conservator of daughter Britney Spears’ affairs, also naming him permanent co-conservator of her estate, along with attorney Andrew Wallet. The singer’s court-appointed lawyer Samuel Ingham said in court on Tuesday (October 28), “I’ve met several times with [Britney] and she requested that I not object to the permanent conservatorship.”

Commissioner Reva Goetz stated that the permanent conservatorship was “necessary and appropriate.”

The permanent status doesn’t necessarily mean that the arrangement will remain in place forever, mental health lawyer Terry K. Wasserman told People magazine.

“People shouldn’t read too much into the word ‘permanent’. In many cases, it’s just a formality to avoid having to renew a temporary status over and over again,” he said.

“Ms. Spears can regain control of her life anytime – as long as her doctors feel she’s able to manage her own affairs. But today’s ruling shows that Ms. Spears doesn’t object to her father’s control, that she agrees with it, and most importantly, that she’s making improvement.”

Britney Unfairly Targeted?

Attorney J. Michael Flanagan has rejected a plea deal and is prepared to go to trial over an incident last August (2007), when Britney Spears hit a parked car and drove away without notifying the owner.

Currently Spears is facing a $150 fine and a year’s probation, however, Flanagan says the star is being unfairly targeted because she is a celebrity and doesn’t deserve a mark on her criminal record.

He states an offer of a $10 fine and a reduction of the charge to an infraction is acceptable and will appeal any conviction should the case go to trial later this month.

Paparazzi Denies Britney Sex Tape

Adnan Ghalib has denied reports he is in possession of a sex tape involving his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears, saying he feels like the most hated man in America.

Ghalib called in to Ryan Seacrest’s Los Angeles radio show, but didn’t go on air, saying he didn’t want news of a sex tape overshadowing the release of Spears’ new single ‘Womanizer,’ which was released last week.

When asked by Seacrest’s sidekick, Negative Natalie, if a sex tape exists, Ghalib responded, “No. There’s no such thing.”

Additionally, the paparazzi issued a denial to Star magazine saying:

“There is no sex tape, and I’ve never claimed there is one. I don’t know where these quotes I’m supposed to have said have come from. What I do know is they certainly didn’t come from me and they are completely false.

“I’m extremely upset and distressed and I’m taking legal action… This story has caused a lot of hurt to my family and people close to me.”

Britney Spears Album Release Date Revealed

Britney Spears announced on Monday (September 15) that her new album ‘Circus’ will be released on December 2nd, her birthday, with the first single to hit radio next week.

Following last year’s ‘Blackout’ album, recorded during her breakdown, Spears has successfully bounced back into the public spotlight scooping three awards at the recent MTV Video Music Awards.

The first single ‘Womanizer’ is scheduled to be serviced to radio on September 22nd, with the singer enlisting the help of producers Max Martin, Danja, Guy Sigsworth (Madonna) and Dr. Luke to produce the album.

Spears Wins Big at the MTV Awards

Britney Spears has taken another step towards a full career resurgence, taking home three Moonmen at the 25th Annual MTV Video Music Awards held in Los Angeles on Sunday night (September 7).

Following her universally panned performance last year, Spears kicked off proceedings saying, “I’m here tonight to celebrate a very important birthday. This is the 25th Video Music Awards - and it starts right now.”

The pop princess won three awards including best female video, best pop video and video of the year for her song ‘Piece of Me.’

Britney Spears To Open MTV Awards

MTV has announced that Britney Spears will open this weekend’s Video Music Awards in Los Angeles, although she will not be performing.

Rumors of Spears singing at the ceremony have been widely reported, with MTV’s News department even admitting to having no knowledge saying, “Even though we work for the same company, at press time we honestly do not know.”

Spears announced in a statement, “MTV has long played an important role in my career. How can I not be there to kick off their 25th VMAs? I’m excited to open the entire show, to say hi to my fans and to be nominated.”

Van Toffler, President of MTV Networks added, “Britney has done everything from perform with a snake, lock lips with Madonna and prove that what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas. I can’t wait to see what she does to kick off this year’s show.”

Briteny Reveals Her Diet Secrets

Britney Spears has revealed the secrets to her recent weight loss in a new interview stating, “I’m the healthiest I’ve been all my life.”

The 26-year-old pop princess is gradually returning to the spotlight for the right reasons, after two years of public turmoil including a mental breakdown and losing custody of her two sons.

However, under the guidance of her father Jamie, Spears has taken control of her life and says health is playing a big part.

“I’m the healthiest I’ve been all my life,” Spears tells OK! magazine. “My diet has a lot to do with my getting into shape. I have no sugar. I don’t eat fruit or even fruit juice because of the sugar. I eat chicken and salmon and rice. I eat avocados. I’ll have egg whites for breakfast and sometimes turkey burgers for lunch.”

She adds, “I try to do just 1,200 calories a day. It may sound like it’s not much, but it’s actually a lot of food if you eat the right things.”

Spears, who appears in the magazine in a white bikini, also said she’s been hitting the gym, doing “lots of cardio and weights” every week.

Jamie Spears has opened up about his famous daughter Britney and her tumultuous couple of years, saying his relationship with her is “wonderful.”

Britney’s dad stepped in and took over control of her life, including her finances, businesses and personal relationships, after she suffered a very public breakdown earlier this year.

Britney Spears has conducted her first interview in two years, opening up about her children, her parents and her career, revealing she’s busy recording her new album and that it’s “my best work ever.”

Reports that Britney Spears’ camp has offered to sell candid shots of the popstar during a recent trip to Cabo, Mexico to the media are false, her rep said Wednesday (August 6).

According to the New York Post, an unnamed source claims that recent photos that appeared of Spears in a bikini was “set up by her camp.”

The source adds that Spears “has brokered a series of shots that she’s offering exclusively to a celebrity weekly for US$1 million.”

However, her rep tells the Post, “If someone is trying to sell photos of Britney in Cabo, they’re doing so without her knowledge or permission.”

Pussycat Dolls Deny Britney Snub

Despite her scene in the new music video for the Pussycat Dolls' latest single "When I Grow Up" being cut, the girls have said they did not snub Britney Spears, as numerous reports suggest.

Speaking with Access Hollywood, lead singer Nicole Scherzinger explains, "She came out, she did a cameo. We love her, we're all huge fans of Britney, always have been. We totally support her. Not everything makes the final cut but we want to do something with her in the future."

Rodney Jerkins to Helm Britney Come Back

Grammy winning producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins says he’s teaming up with pop star Britney Spears on her next album, saying the pair have been working on some “dancey, really up-tempo, aggressive” material.

Jerkins spoke to Rap-Up TV at Interscope Geffen A&M’s Creme of the Crop dinner in Los Angeles, where he revealed that he’s “trying some new things [with Spears]”

“I’ve always worked with Britney and I love working with her,” he said. “I’m try to reinvent her and reinvent myself with her project.”

Jerkins, who has previously worked with Destiny’s Child, Toni Braxton, Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson, will produce two tracks on Spears’ upcoming, as-yet-untitled record.

He last worked with the pop star seven years ago on her self-titled ‘Britney’ album, producing the remix for ‘Overprotected’ and ‘I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll’.

Spears has been the ultimate professional during their collaborations, Jerkins said, and she works swiftly; during a recent studio session, Britney “walked in at 8:30 and was out by 10:30.” He adds, “It’s about to be her time again.”

Britney Spears Not Heading To Vegas

Britney Spears' former manager Larry Rudolph has denied reports that his former client is heading to Las Vegas to stage her big comback.

The stories began to circulate after Spears was spotted dining with George Maloof Jr., the owner of the Palms Hotel and Casino, recently in Los Angeles.

Rudolph, who was principle in the success of Spears early in her career, dismissed claims the popstar is in secret negotiations, telling the Las Vegas Review Journal, "She's not here (in Las Vegas) and she's not coming. I wouldn't lie to you."

Britney Spears Back In Recording Studio

Two music producers have revealed that they are back in the studio recording a new album with Britney Spears.

J.R. Rotem, also a reported former boyfriend of Spears, told People.com on Tuesday that the popstar is "like a master at what she does... She just has the 'it' factor that not every artist has. So it's always nice to work with her."

Fellow producer Sean Garrett adds that there are "a few things in the works. I'm just happy to see her back and recovering. She's really shaping up and getting her whole situation back together. I'm really proud and happy to see her."

Britney Lost 60+ MIllion in 12 Months

Britney Spears' recent troubles have reportedly cost her nearly $61 million.

The 'Toxic' singer's father Jamie, who is also co-conservator of her estate, made the shocking discovery after examining Britney's accounts.

A source close to the Spears family said: "It's staggering how much money has been used up since February 2007."

Britney - who lost custody of her two children to ex-husband Kevin Federline before being admitted to a psychiatric ward earlier this year - has been forced to spend huge amounts on legal bills and psychiatric care.

Independent accountant Robert Bianchi - who is not involved in the Spears care - also estimates the 26-year-old singer lost out on a staggering $50 million by not touring to promote her most recent record 'Blackout', according to In Touch Weekly magazine.

Britney Has A Fender Bender

Britney Spears is back in the headines again, this time for being involved in a minor car accident on Saturday evening (April 12) in Los Angeles, when the pop star was driving and accidentally rear-ended another vehicle.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Spears ran into another car while driving on the 405 freeway in LA at approximately 8:30pm.

No-one was injured in the fender-bender, and no one received a ticket.

LOS ANGELES - Kevin Federline might play the part of the pauper to his pop princess ex-wife Britney Spears, but in Las Vegas he is king.

Federline spent over $43,000 on Las Vegas hotels, dining and shopping between May 2007 and January of this year, according to documents filed by Federline's attorney in his custody battle with Spears. The documents were released by the Superior Court on Thursday.

The tabs included $1,445 for clothing at Gianni Versace, $3,863 at TAO nightclub, and $3,008 at the Hard Rock Beach Club. He appears determined not to be branded a cheap tipper. At Scores strip club, he dropped a cool $2,000 on a $365 meal bill.

Meanwhile, his company, Gooseneck Productions, Inc., spent $841,129 in 2007 while earning $544,075, according to the documents. The aspiring rapper also spent big on attempts to prop up his struggling music career.

Federline had $74,102 in "music production" expenses, but earned only $9,849 in "music income," according to the documents, which did not elaborate. The Superior Court commissioner dealing with the Federline-Spears custody battle has consistently awarded Federline attorneys fees.

In March, Spears' divorce attorney, Stacy Phillips, argued that Federline's attorneys were overbilling, and her client should not be required to pay. Phillips said that Federline tipped extravagantly. Indeed, a credit card statement showed a $1,100 tip for a $2,782 bill at a Los Angeles restaurant.

Federline still owed $343,834 in fees to his attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, when the documents released Thursday were filed in January. Spears pays her ex-husband $15,000 per month in child support for 2-year-old Sean Preston and 1-year-old Jayden James. Her monthly spousal support payments of $20,000 ended in November.

The accounting statement mixes personal expenses, like $1,500 per week for a nanny to care for the two toddlers, and business expenses, like $2,500 per month for his manager. The bulk of Federline's income came from his work on a Nationwide car insurance commercial that aired during the Super Bowl. Federline was paid $377,000 for playing a fry cook who dreams of being a rap star, wearing fur coats and flashing huge diamond rings.

He earned $15,000 for appearing at his 29th birthday party at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas, and $50,000 for a series of appearances at Las Vegas clubs in December 2007.
Federline also pays $18,228 per month in child support, rent and private school tuition for his two children from a previous relationship.

K-Fed Denies Trip With Britney

Kevin Federline has denied a US tabloids claim that he is planning a holiday to Hawaii with his ex-wife Britney Spears to try and salvage their relationship.

Star magazine reports that the pair are looking at taking a trip to Maui, "far from the glare of Hollywood to work on their relationship."

The article quotes a 'family friend' as saying that "Kevin wants to take Britney away to see if there is anything to salvage between them. When he suggested it to her, she told him she was ready to go anytime he was."

However, a representative for Federline has denied the tabloid story saying it's "not true."

Britney Spears spent Saturday night with dad.

The singer, 26, and her father Jamie - whose co-conservatorship over her was recently extended until March 10 — hit Hollywood restaurant Social Hollywood shortly before 8 p.m.

She wore diamond earrings and a chocolate brown dress with spaghetti straps; her father carried her fur coat for her.

They spent more than two hours dining before calling it a night.

Meanwhile, although Spears' relationship with her father appears to be improving, one celeb says she wouldn't mind taking over parenting duties for the troubled pop singer.

"She can call me and come live in our house with us for a couple of months," Heidi Klum says in a new interview with German broadcaster ARD. "I would help set her straight.

"I am sorry when a young person gets thrown so off track," Klum says, according to a transcript obtained by the Associated Press. "She has, of course, lived an extremely wild life."

Court Papers: Manager Controlled Spears

A restraining order against the man who's been at Britney Spears' side during her downward spiral portrays him as a Svengali figure who held her a virtual hostage in her home, drugged her, took over her finances and controlled the ravenous paparazzi "like a general."

The order against 33-year-old Sam Lutfi was based on a lengthy declaration from Spears' mother, Lynne, who says they met in October 2007, when he "essentially moved into Britney's home and has purported to take control of her life, home and finances."

Lynne Spears' account of a long, chaotic night at Britney's home depicted a drugged and confused pop star being led around by Lutfi, who was setting up pictures for the paparazzi even as she was spinning out of control.

The documents released by the court Tuesday ordered Lutfi to stay away from Spears, her homes, her parents and siblings' homes and the hospital where she is confined for psychiatric evaluation.

On Monday, Lutfi told The Associated Press in a text message: "I have no problems with anyone writing anything negative against me. My image is not of concern, hers is." He has not responded to further inquiry.

Lynne Spears said in the order that Lutfi "drugged Britney, he has cut Britney's home phone lines and removed her cell phone chargers. He yells at her. He claims to control everything — Britney's business manager, her attorneys and the security guards at the gate."

Much of the 6-page declaration centers on the night of Jan. 28, just a few days before Spears was whisked by police and ambulance to a hospital psychiatric ward, where she remained Tuesday night. Her mother outlined increasingly bizarre behavior through the night, and said her daughter asked at one point, "When do I get to see my babies?" to which Lutfi answered, "Wednesday."

Spears has been in court with ex-husband Kevin Federline over custody of their two small children, 1-year-old Jayden James and 2-year-old Sean Preston. She lost visitation rights last month after refusing to hand them back over to their father.

Lynne Spears described a harrowing night that stretched into the wee hours when she, her husband and a friend went to Britney's home because they'd heard Britney was crying after a fight with Lutfi. Once inside, Lynne Spears said she was told by Lutfi that her daughter was afraid to see her father, and only wanted her mother in the house.

Lynne Spears also said there were several photoggraphers present, who deferred to Lutfi. "The paparazzi reported to Sam and addressed him with great respect," she said. "They treated him like a general."

She said during the evening, "Sam had told Britney she was an unfit mother, a piece of trash and a whore, that she cares more about Adnan (Ghalib), her current boyfriend, than she cares about her kids and that she does not deserve her kids."

It was unclear how Lynne Spears knew details of the fight.

She said at one point, Lutfi told her, "You'd better learn that I control everything," and said he was the one giving Britney her medications and, "he told me if he weren't in the house to give Britney her medicine, she would kill herself."

She also alleged that Lutfi threatened her. "Then he said to me, 'If you try to get rid of me, she'll be dead and I'll piss on her grave.'"

Throughout the night, she said Britney continued to ask to see her children.

"What do I have to do to see them?" her mother quoted her as saying. "Sam responded, 'Take the pills I tell you to take.' Britney said, 'I don't like the pills and I don't like the psychiatrist. Can't I see another psychiatrist so I can see my babies?'"

At that point, Lynne Spears said, "Sam responded, 'If I told you to take 10 pills a day, you should do what I tell you to see your babies."

She said one time Lutfi raised his voice and said "Why don't you get back with Kevin (Federline)." Britney then said, "I'll do anything to get them back."

Lynne Spears described various medications in the house and said Lutfi told her he ground them up and put them in Britney's food to keep her quiet. "He told us that the doctor who is treating her now is trying to get her into a sleep-induced coma so that they could then give her drugs to heal her brain."

Late that same evening, she said Britney decided she needed to go to the drug store for lipsticks. Before they left the house, Lutfi took Britney upstairs and said he gave her something "to make her more lighthearted, happy and fun."

At the store, she said chaos ensued when Britney's credit card did not work and she started speaking with a British accent. The manager offered to let them leave by a side entrance to elude the photographers, but she said Lutfi insisted they leave through the front door, then put his arms around Britney and Lynne so the paparazzi could take pictures.

A judge has put Britney Spears' father in control of her personal and financial affairs until Feb. 14 while she is evaluated. The singer's child custody case, meanwhile, has been continued until Feb. 19.

Britney Blows Her Top Again!

At a hearing concerning who has control over Britney Spears' medical, legal, and financial decisions, attorneys for her father, Jamie, argued that he should remain as her temporary conservator.

"Mr. Spears is here because his daughter is in great distress," attorney Jeryll Cohen told the court. "He's trying to get her better. In the meantime, while she is in great distress, she needs him to watch over her assets."
Cohen said that she has not been able to serve Britney's friend Sam Lutfi with a restraining order issued on Friday. "Late last night when we learned of his location, we sent out our process server, but Lutfi refused to answer the door," Cohen told the court.

Cohen said that Lutfi has spoken to Britney on the phone, a violation of the court's orders. Britney's attorney maintained that Jamie should be removed as co-conservator because his daughter does not trust him.

"She has expressed a very strong desire that her father not be appointed conservator," attorney Adam Streisand said. "He has been estranged from her and this is causing her even more stress." Streisand, who admitted he has been denied access" to Britney, would not say how he has been retained.

Streisand said Britney wants the Northern Bank Trust and Howard Grossman, her business manager, to act as conservators.

"Ms. Spears' estate consists of $40 million in assets and is currently undergoing a $17 million IRS audit," Streisand said. "It's a $17 million audit against Jive records," Streisand later told Usmagazine.com. Following his statement, the judge asked Streisand to leave the courtroom. "I think the law should presume she has capacity until proven otherwise," Streisand told Us. "Britney got in touch with me. I can't go into specifics."

"I was referred to her through the Trope and Trope firm," Streisand told Us. Sorrell Trope, of the firm Trope and Trope, is usually Britney's attorney but Streisand told the press that Jamie and attorney Andrew Wallet, the co-conservator, wanted Trope off of Britney's ongoing custody case.

The next step, Streisand said, would be a hearing on whether she lacks capacity to retain an attorney. On Friday, Jamie won temporary legal control over his daughter. He was also granted full control of her residence and can legally remove anyone who is staying there. Wallet was named co-conservator. A court creates a conservatorship when it concludes a person no longer can care for themselves or their personal and financial affairs. An insider told Usmagazine.com that it may be an uphill battle for Britney's attorney "because what child does get along with their parents when they are locked in the psych ward?"

Britney has been involuntarily hospitalized since early Thursday morning at the UCLA Medical Center. She is expected to be there for two more weeks while receiving treatment for severe bipolar disorder.

Britney Hospitalized Again, for "Mental Evaluation"

For the second time in a less than a month, police involuntary committed Britney Spears early Thursday morning, hours after blogs and media outlets began reporting that her psychiatrist determined she was a danger to herself and others.

At approximately 1a.m., dozens of Los Angeles Police officers along with an ambulance arrived at Spears' home in the Summit Circle gated community in the hills above Beverly Hills. Less than 20 minutes later, she was transported to UCLA Medical Center.

Citing unidentified authorities, The Los Angeles Times said Spears was placed on a "mental evaluation hold."

The ambulance was seen pulling out of the side entrance of Spears' gated Summit community at 1:20 a.m. Her mother, Lynne Spears, was seen riding in an SUV as part of the police escort caravan. Her father, Jamie, and her brother, Bryan, arrived at the hospital minutes after Britney was brought in. Sam Lutfi and Alli Sims also were seen entering.

Lutfi recently told Barbara Walters that Spears — whose behavior has become increasingly erratic — suffers from "mental issues which are treatable" and "that she has been to a psychiatrist."

On January 3, Spears was taken to L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after a three-hour stand-off with authorities, which began when she refused to hand over her two sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston, to her ex Kevin Federline as required by their custody decree. Spears was released less than 48 hours later

Britney Spears' paparazzi bagman -- whose wife just filed for divorce -- proclaims that he wants to marry Britney, and more shockingly, that Britney wants to have his baby.

Despite everything that has transpired between the two runaway trains, Adnan Ghalib tells "Entertainment Tonight" that their relationship is "far from over."

He says that he didn't get involved with Spears to sell more pics. And here's a howler: Adnan claims that when Britney was looking at pregnancy tests at a Rite Aid, she was "hoping" that she was pregnant with his child.

Britney Nude Store Apperance

Britney Spears’ behavior is getting more crazy every day. Before Britney’s no-show - show - no-show at the court house yesterday, she caused a disturbing commotion at the Betsey Johnson store at the Westfield Fashion Square in Sherman Oaks. She came out of the dressing room completely naked.

“Britney grabbed dresses from the racks and disappeared into a dressing room with Adnan. Moments later, Britney came out completely naked, shocking salesclerks! “I was blown away. Britney’s private parts were right in front of me!” a store employee tells Life & Style.”

“I grabbed a dress to cover her and she screamed, ‘Get away from me! Don’t you f—— come near me!’ says the employee. “Then she disappeared in the dressing room with Adnan for 45 minutes. They were making weird noises. It was disgusting.”

When Britney and Adnan stumbled out, Britney mumbled something unintelligible. “I couldn’t understand a word she was saying. She was slurring and spitting, and talking with a British accent,” says the employee. “Her face was covered with cold sores and acne, and her scalp was patchy. I wanted to help her, but she was so mean that I left her alone.”

“Then she muttered, ‘F— you!’ and left the store.”

As for spending 45 minutes in a dressing room with Adnan “making weird noises.” Are you thinking what I’m thinking?

Inside the Mad House: Britney's Meltdown

Law enforcement sources have opened up about the craziness in Britney's house the night she was committed. It involves profanity, nudity, drugs and wild mood swings.

Sources say when the cops showed up, Britney was locked in the master bathroom with Jayden James. Officers saw Britney from the backyard holding Jayden, who did not appear to be upset. Britney refused to come out for nearly three hours. When she did, all she was wearing was panties. Britney was incoherent, screaming at the cops, "What the fuck are you doing in my house? I know who you are." She continued ranting, "I don't need your fucking help." And as her moods swings changed wildly from laughter to rage to sobs, she hollered, "You will do as I say."

At some point Britney put on a see-through nightgown. Before police took her outside, they wanted to cover her with a sweater, and she screamed, "Don't cover me up. I'm fucking hot."

Britney's assistant and nanny were present during the standoff. And her assistant told the police that Britney had been "popping pills" all day. Her code for medication is "vitamins" and she repeatedly demanded, "Get me my vitamins!" Officers found a bottle of Prozac in her bedroom.

Sam Lutfi arrived and told officers that he and the others around Britney "knew this was coming for a long time," but didn't know how bad it would be.

The assistant also told cops that earlier in the day, Britney showed no concern about attending her deposition and would not heed her warnings to show up on time. Sam told law enforcement that Britney had been extremely unstable and had recently purchased a house in Malibu on a whim, began moving furniture in and then changed her mind. As for Jayden James, the reason cops took him to the hospital was because there was a small bruise on his leg. Britney insisted the bruise occurred on Kevin's watch. Police took Jayden to Cedars as a precautionary measure.

We're told police will testify about the insanity at Monday's custody hearing. And one more thing -- the nanny told cops that Britney would frequently dress up to the nines for no reason. She would walk around the house and change back.

16, Jaime-Lynn Spears Pregnant!!

NEW YORK - Another Spears baby is reportedly on the way and it's not Britney's. Jamie Lynn Spears, the 16-year-old "Zoey 101" star and sister of Britney, told OK! magazine that she's pregnant and that the father is her boyfriend, Casey Aldridge.

"It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected," she said. "I was in complete and total shock and so was he."

Spears is 12 weeks along and initially kept the news to herself when she learned of the pregnancy from an at-home test and subsequent doctor visit, she told the celebrity magazine, which hits stands in New York on Wednesday and the rest of the country by Friday.

What message does she want to send to other teens about premarital sex? "I definitely don't think it's something you should do; it's better to wait," she told the magazine. "But I can't be judgmental because it's a position I put myself in."

After she found out from a doctor that she was pregnant, she said, "I took two weeks to myself where I didn't tell anybody."

"Only one of my friends knew because I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let anyone's opinion affect my decision. Then I told my parents and my friends. I was scared, but I had to do what was right for me," she said.

Spears broke the news to her mother, Lynne, just before Thanksgiving, the magazine reported.

"She was very upset because it wasn't what she expected at all," Spears said. "A week after, she had time to cope with it and became very supportive."

Lynne Spears, already grandmother to Britney's young sons, told the magazine: "I didn't believe it because Jamie Lynn's always been so conscientious. She's never late for her curfew. I was in shock. I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby."

She said her actress daughter, the telegenic heroine of her popular Nickelodeon series, has known Aldridge for years and began dating him in high school.

But in a recent interview with The Associated Press, Spears said she had no steady boyfriend. "I kind of just keep my options open," she said. "I have a bunch of friends that I always hang out with, a bunch of guy friends." She declined to talk about her older sister.

Spears spoke to the AP shortly before Thanksgiving, the day she told OK! she informed her mother about the pregnancy.

Jamie Lynn plans to raise the baby in her home state of Louisiana "so it can have a normal family life."

Nickelodeon released a statement: "We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being."

A publicist for the network did not immediately respond to phone and e-mail requests for additional comment.

"Zoey 101" is scheduled to conclude its third season Jan. 4 with a cliffhanger episode in which Spears' character must decide whether to leave her fictional Pacific Coast Academy boarding school in California to join her parents in London.

The show is scheduled to resume in February, and its producer, Dan Schneider, has said filming on the fourth season has already been completed.

Heidi Klum has revealed that troubled singer Britney Spears taught her how-to-use a diaper.

Klum, who appeared on Tuesday’s The Ellen DeGeneres Show, claimed that Spears had shown her the proper way to put on a diaper.

The 34-year-old Project Runway hostess says she got the advice from Britney - after the troubled ‘Gimme More’ singer showed up uninvited to her Halloween party at L.A.’s Green Door lounge.

“We were talking about babies and diapers and she explained to me a lot of things about diapers I that didn’t know,” Klum told DeGeneres.

“You know these sticky things on the side? I never knew that they were there. To close them in the front, I was always putting string around. I had no idea,” Klum said.

Scott, 29, said Britney "seemed drunk" and alleged she also did coke, even though she passed a court ordered drug test the next day.

He added to In Touch Weekly magazine: "She was in a great mood. She didn't have a care in the world."

Britney Spears was in court Friday, and she was not in a good mood.

When a reporter asked Spears, 25, how she felt about the discussions taking place in her custody hearing during a brief courtroom break Friday afternoon, Spears suddenly snapped back, "Eat it, lick it, snort it, fuck it!"

Britney Gets Charged!

Britney Spears walked into a Van Nuys Valley police station last night and surrendered to LAPD at around 9:20pm, pacific coast time, to be booked on one count of hit and run causing property damage and one count of driving without a valid California license. Both charges are misdemeanors.

The maximum penalty is 6 months in jail. The incident occurred on August 6th, when Spears hit a parked car in a parking lot and left the scene without reporting the accident.

More than three weeks after being charged with two misdemeanor charges stemming from her August hit-and-run accident, Britney Spears was booked and fingerprinted at 9:26 p.m.

“She is being booked right now at the Van Nuys station,” LAPD Sgt. Mike Lopez confirmed. Describing the LAPD’s booking process, Sgt. Lopez explained: “She comes in and we put her information into computer, fingerprint her, lifescan and electronically scan hands and palms as well, and photograph her. She will be issued a release from custody citation, which tells her next court appearance.”

Britney The Bartender?

A court-ordered-sober Britney Spears applied for a new job on Thursday as a ... wait for it ... bartender!! Sources inside the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica, Calif. tell TMZ Brit checked in Thursday and at around 10:30 PM went downstairs and started talking with a bartender.


We're told Spears told the bartender she wanted to do what she did -- then asked for and obtained an application from the night manager to work in the hotel's “Cameo Bar.”

We're told the application is currently with Human Resources. The hotel website says the bar “serves imported and California wines, premium well drinks and appetizers ... signature drinks include Blood Orange, Key Lime and Raspberry Lemon Drop martinis.”

You see this goes to show you just how fucking delusional this girl is. “Sure,” she’s probably thinking, “I’ll just leave all the paparazzi outside while I rock up to work [like everyone else] and then serve the general public drinks.” Yeah, real good idea. What an idoit!

Britney Loses Custody!

An LA County Superior Court Judge has taken custody away from Britney Spears and ordered today that Kevin Federline. Britney, “Is to retain physical custody of the minor children on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 12:00PM until further order of the court.”sources report:

Judge Gordon had ordered Spears to undergo random drug testing and take parenting classes. Sources say Federline's powerhouse lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, raised the issue that Spears was driving without a valid California driver's license...

Spears took the kids to the drive-thru at Carl's Jr. at 12:02 this afternoon and surrendered the kids to K-Fed's bodyguard three minutes later.

Inside Britney - Ex Bodyguard Spills Beans

Tony Barretto, Britney Spears ex bodyguard, has filed a declaration with the judge handling her custody case. Based on this information, the judge has ordered Britney to take randomized drug tests and parenting classes to maintain custody of her kids.

In light of these allegations, Tony has also granted an exclusive interview with ‘News of the World’. Some of the claims are just down right mind blowing, in which he describes drug use, excessive nudity, drink driving, lesbianism, and questionable parenting skills.

On her parenting skills:
Tony described how Britney kept her sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston, up late so they would sleep through the mornings and not wake her. If they woke early, a member of staff dealt with them.

Tony explained, “Britney does love her kids, but she is a fickle mother. When the kids are happy, she's happy. When they're crying or unwell, she's not sure what to do. She speaks to them in weird, creepy, baby voices, in made-up languages, which they just don't get. All it does is unsettle, upset and scare them. Often she would scream and cry uncontrollably. Imagine what that is like for young children.”

On the constant nudity:
“It's the strangest thing, she likes to expose herself. I think part of it is she likes to embarrass people and make them feel uneasy. Before I even started working for her, I was warned about her stripping. I must have seen her naked dozens of times and each time I've been extremely embarrassed. She strips off anywhere—at home, recording studios and clubs. Even at the dance rehearsals, she took all her clothes off in front of me and then bent over, not even to pick anything up. I felt my ears burning and turned my head to the wall.”

On her suspected Lesbianism:
Tony said, “She regularly stripped off when she was with girl pals in the hot tub at her Beverly Hills mansion.”

In recent months she had snogged women in public and been accused of bedding her PA Shannon Funk.

Tony went on, “Britney and her friend Alli went out a lot of the time but never brought back any men. I found it odd how two good-looking, wealthy women could never attract nice men. Tony was also shocked by her strange daily rituals.

“After getting up at lunchtime and drinking her Starbucks coffee, she goes to a tanning shop in Bel Air, where she spends ten minutes on a UV bed every day. After that she usually eats sushi for lunch or bowls of Special K. We were always having to go out to get her Special K. And she downs can after can of Red Bull or cola. She drinks three Red Bulls an hour. That completes her daily routine.”

On her overdose with Howie Day:
“On the surface of the dresser, I could see mounds of white powder and a straw on top. I suspected it was cocaine or powdered methamphetamines. By the side I spotted a glass pipe, which I knew from my drugs training was often used with crystal meth.”

The drug has similar effects to amphetamine and ecstasy, and overdosing has been known to cause heart failure.

Tony went on to describe, “I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Britney was completely out of it. We thought she'd overdosed. She was distraught, crying. Her skin was all waxy. She looked so ill. We tried to speak to her. My fellow bodyguard and Alli were so worried they wanted to get hold of a medic to detoxify her. We were panicking. We thought she was going to die. There was talk about where to put the detox line it was that serious—through her arm, which would make fans think she'd been injecting, or through her neck.”

I mean even if half his stories are to be believed, (and I personally don’t doubt it) then its pretty much everything we could have imagined her life to be – worse case scenario anyway.

So to sum up, Britney is a naïve, crystal meth, exhibitionist junky, who has no concept of money, sleeps with girls, and has been fucked two ways of Sunday. And now, she’s going to lose the only thing that is grounding her in any way, her kids. And IMO that’s when the shits really gonna hit the fan.

To tell you the truth I’m amazed she made it this far on her own.

Seriously, someone needs to help her, as this once upon a time pop princess has got a rendezvous with death – and the clocks ticking.

Britney Spears' acting career has been given a boost - she's among studio favorites to land a role opposite former friends star Matthew Perry in a new sitcom.

In a new NBC sitcom in development, Perry will play a businessman who finds a pretty girl and asks her to pretend to be his wife to better his career. Daily Variety columnist Liz Smith Reports bosses at the NBC TV network like the idea of troubled Spears playing the part of the fake wife.


A TV source tells Smith, "There's something about her that just connects with the audience."

Britney Ordered To Do Drug Tests

Britney Spears has been ordered to take randomized drug tests in order to maintain custody of her children. On top of that she must seek counseling and see a parenting coach, sources claim.

“Based on the evidence presented, the court finds that there is a habitual, frequent, and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol by [Spears],” he wrote in his nine-page ruling. The judge ordered the 25-year-old to undergo random drug testing twice a week - and get a parenting coach.

Kevin Federline didn’t come out of the ruling without a few dings either:

K-Fed and Brit are barred from consuming alcohol or drugs within 12 hours of when they are scheduled to take care of their children, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1. They also have to hire a parenting coach to evaluate them and report back to the court, and they must enroll in a Parenting Without Conflict program within five days.The battling exes are due back in court Nov. 26.

Papa Joe Wants Britney

Joe Simpson, the brilliant mind behind the legendary careers of Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, has decided to bless the entertainment world with his Midas touch once again. Lucky us! The New York Daily News reports:

According to an inside source, Joe Simpson is considering managing Spears' career, or what's left of it.


The former Baptist minister even tried to set up a meeting over the weekend with Spears, our source attests - though Jessica's rep Cindi Berger denies it.

Spears has made more than $100 million from records and endorsements, while sales of Simpson's five albums were lukewarm. But Joe Simpson adeptly steered his daughter into movies and lucrative appearances.

Insiders even credit Joe's guidance for helping the sisters avoid the excesses that sent Spears to rehab at the urging of her family, doctors and manager, Larry Rudolph."

Britney Gets Served

Model mama Brit-Brit's drama has now spread to her assistant/cousin Alli Sims!

Britney's cousin Alli Sims was served with papers by Kevin Federline's lawyer in the dead of night.

Why does K-Fed want to talk to Alli? It seems he and his lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan want to grill her about Britney's lifestyle and parenting skills - including how much she boozes it up in front of the kids.

Alli was reportedly super steamed by the "serving." Court's in session, y'all!

Britney Spears Is Easy

If you thought Britney couldn’t sink any lower well then think again as Us are reporting on a story on Britney and her latest drunken whoring. A guy by the name of Matt Encinias tells them he was an extra on her latest video shoot and when the day ended he and several others were invited to hang out in the pool at the Standard hotel.

Tons of booze followed, as did Britney taking off her clothes and making out with Matt – a guy she just met!

Although Spears was expecting her two young sons to be dropped off at her Beverly Hills home at noon (as per her custody arrangement with K-Fed), the singer had arranged to have the pool reopened at 2am for the exclusive use of her group, which included then-assistant Shannon Funk and some hand-picked male extras from her video shoot.

“Britney was drinking Mojitos and Jack Daniel’s. It was when the alcohol started running low that an inebriated Spears, 25, suggested a game of Truth or Dare. I was dared to get naked and get out of the pool and walk as though I was on a catwalk in a fashion show,” says Encinias, “Britney was laughing really hard.”

Then he explains:

“Suddenly she shocked everyone by just stripping out of her top. She was the first one to undress, and then everyone else followed. I turned around and saw that she was topless and she had fake tattoos of flowers on her nipples from the shoot. She went into the pool topless - her boobs were exposed and she had a drink in her hand and a hat on with sunglasses.”

“I was told all she wanted to do that night was kiss a boy,” the 5’10” California native continues, “And that’s what she did. Mission accomplished.”

“She straddled me and put her legs around me. When I started kissing her I did everything in my power - from my previous experience of kissing girls - not to mess it up. Britney had more drinks - she was having Jack and more Mojitos in between me feeling her up, her boobs, and kissing her on her neck. Her body was very nice. It was sexual and sensual kissing. It took some effort to perfect. She is a great kisser - I’d actually say a phenomenal kisser.”

Matt then explains that he was invited back to Britney’s suite once the party was over at 4am:

“I went in and found Britney lying on the bed with her knees up and just a pair of pink panties on. She was looking like she was ready - and I wanted to finalize it.”

Matt was planning on spending the rest of the night in her bed – that was until one of his friends collapsed and nearly drowned from all the booze he had downed, causing Britney’s bodyguards to step in and order Matt to take his friend home.

Matt’s adds, “In the end we had to say our goodbyes.”

Britney Finally Sells Her Malibu Mansion

Britney Spears has unloaded her house in Malibu for just under $12 million! A friend of the Spears family tells Life & Style that the seven-bedroom mansion, purchased by an anonymous buyer, sits on a 1.53-acre hilltop site in the gated Serra Retreat section of Malibu.

A Spears family friend says the long-awaited sale of the Malibu mansion Britney shared with ex-hubby Kevin Federline during their marriage was the last roadblock to finally settling their divorce.

“They were just waiting on the sale of the house. Now Kevin gets his money,” the friend says. Brit first put the house on the market last November for $13.5 million, but cut the price in March when no serious buyers emerged.

Britney’s other LA-area mansion, a six-bedroom house in Beverly Hills, remains on the market for just under $7.5 million. Britney, meanwhile, is living full time in the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. The friend says that the “mystery man” who escorted Britney to several LA clubs over the weekend is real estate agent Justin Mandile, 25, whose father, Drew Mandile’s firm sold Britney’s Malibu house.

Everyone Hates Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham has reportedly pissed off management at the celeb-friendly Chateau Marmont because "she always lets the paparazzi know when she'll be arriving. The Chateau Marmont tries to give celebs their privacy, and they hate her there."

Additionally, Britney Spears showed up to the Chateau Marmont last Tuesday to eat, but the only available table was next to Victoria Beckham and Britney didn't want to sit next to her so she stormed off and ate somewhere else.

A source explains, "Britney Spears turned up at the Chateau and the only table available was the one next to Posh. But Britney didn't want to sit next to her, so she and her friend stormed off to Il Sole instead."

Britney Sinks A little Further

When you’re trying for a comeback, every move has to be calculated and executed with precision and attention to detail. Translation: Britney Spears’ 2nd try at world domination is on life support.

Take the incredible failure with OK! Magazine last week. She had an amazing platform to set the record straight and try to convince the public that she’s not a wackjob. Unfortunately, she did more damage to her image than if she would’ve stayed quiet.

Following the horrific interview/photo shoot (if you can call it that), Brit took to the soundstage to film some stripper-iffic scenes for her video “Get Back.”

She took frequent bathroom breaks during the shoot, and was described as “erratic” and “disoriented” by the crew. One witness told press, “You could see she was getting a bit wobbly, but no one expected her to throw a complete fit. Suddenly, she was in floods of tears and stormed off set. She eventually came back but was sobbing hysterically.”

Apparently the “Stronger” singer couldn’t hang with the pole dancing routine that the video treatment called for. And instead of handling it like a 25-year-old woman, she sulked off like a 5-year-old girl. The director even had to end the shoot prematurely so that Britney could go home and compose herself. If anyone can pull it back together and launch a kick-butt comeback it’s Brit. But she’ll have to start doing things a little more “Baby One More Time” and a little less “Oops I Did It Again.”

Britney Spears looked miserable leaving LA club Les Deux on July 14, and now we know why.

“She was fighting back tears,” says one eyewitness.

In the past, when times were tough, Britney turned to one person: her mom, Lynne Spears. But now that’s all over.


Brit's convinced that Lynne is plotting to help Kevin Federline gain sole custody of their sons. And their relationship has degenerated so much that on June 28, before the singer delivered her now infamous note demanding Lynne stay away from Sean Preston and Jayden James, she was shaking with rage.

“As she wrote the note,” says a friend of Brit’s, “she was saying, ‘You’ve got it coming, Mama. I really hate you.’”

Is Britney being paranoid, or does she have reason to worry? Can she and Lynne ever repair their relationship, who knows?

AA Counselor Talks About Britney

“Britney told me she loved me - and I was foolish enough to believe her,” wealthy AA counselor John Sundahl in a new issue of The National Enquirer.

“I let my emotions take over my business savvy,” the thirty-eight year old says. “Britney’s just a kid- and I got into something I shouldn’t have.”

“Britney said she was in love with me. We were having sex. I truly cared for her,” he said.

“After the surgery I was immobile for three weeks with 62 staples in my stomach, so I wasn’t able to make love and party with Britney.”

“We’d also been planning a trip together, but I had to cancel. Next thing I know, I got a call from a friend of mine who works at an upscale hotel in L.A. He told me: ‘This chick isn’t being faithful to you. She was here with another guy.’ I’d met Daimon when he came to the hospital with Britney. He’s younger than me and in better shape- and didn’t have 62 staples in his gut stopping him from romancing her.”

Shaken, Sundahl left several messages for Britney, but she didn’t call back. So Sundahl headed to her Beverly Hills home to confront her. “Britney wasn’t expecting me, but it wasn’t unusual for me to turn up unannounced,” said Sundahl.

“She came to the gate and told me bluntly: ‘It’s over between us.’ We talked for a while and she asked me to sign a confidentiality agreement that said I wouldn’t talk about certain legal issues she’s facing. I felt like refusing, but I signed it.”

“He asked Britney: ‘Is anything wrong?’ She said: ‘No, John’s just leaving.’ And that was it. They walked away. I was dumped. It was over. Since then I’ve learned Britney was having a relationship with Daimon at the same time as me, at least for a while. He’s definitely her current boyfriend.”

Aguilera Calls Britney ‘A Good Mom’

Rumored expectant mother Christina Aguilera is biting back against claims that her childhood Mickey Mouse Club co-star Britney Spears makes for a lousy parental unit.

“Britney is a good person and a good mom. She’s been under so much pressure since she was a child. I don’t think any of us should judge her or jump to conclusions. She loves her boys and they are turning out great,” the blonde bombshell recently told the press.

Britney The Cocktail Waitress?

Britney Spears has applied to be a cocktail waitress at a Hollywood bar.

The ‘Toxic’ singer was drinking at hip hangout Les Deux with friends when she approached a manager and told him she wanted to wear a “sexy” corset and serve drinks. The manager asked Britney to fill out an application form, before interviewing her for a job.



A source told Life and style Weekly magazine: “Britney told one of the managers, ‘I really want to get a job here - I love the sexy red corsets the cocktail waitresses wear!’ and he said ‘Well, you should fill out an application then!’”

She filled out the application, including her work history, address, social security number, and then she went to a back room for an interview with the manager.

“Everyone thought she was joking, but she seemed dead serious.” Britney is reportedly preparing to release a new single called ‘Get Back’.

The 25-year-old singer is said to preparing to release her first song since 2005 in the next few weeks and has a “surprising” new sound.

A source said: “It's a very new sound for her. I think people will be surprised.”

Britney's Stalker is Concerned?

Apparently someone called Children's Services on Britney Spears multiple times last week - but it turns out he's a nut.

Sources say Britney has a "stalker" who has become irritated with her. The man began calling the L.A. County Department of Child and Family Services and lodging "bizarre" complaints against Spears.


We're told someone from the Department made contact with one of Britney's reps, but it became obvious during the call that the complaints were bogus -- and the matter was dropped.

Contrary to several news reports, the Department did not dispatch anyone to Spears' home.

Britney All Alone, Crying Again!

Sources report that Britney Spears is all poised for another crazy meltdown as she is alienating the last of her friends and is now almost entirely alone. Her cousin Alli has been a constant companion for the last month or so but now even she has had enough of Britney. Insiders say:

We spotted Brit last night at 8:30 p.m. at the Four Seasons hotel in Beverly Hills (where we've seen her almost every day for the past week) crying!



Apparently she was sobbing during dinner - with her new bodyguard/manny by her side - but still managed to puff through a few ciggies. She retreated upstairs to a room and we never spotted her again...

Her cousin/assistant Alli has been conspicuously absent over the past week, since we first saw the new bodyguard/manny come on board. A source is telling us Brit and Alli are taking a much-needed break after so much time together over the past few months - that a little spat has temporarily separated the two.


Jesus, so not only is she bedding almost every male figure in her life of late, but has alienated every one of her family as well. It really makes you wonder what makes her so unmanageable.

Britney's New Man

John Sundahl, a 38-year-old real estate developer, has told the National Enquirer that yes, he is engaged in a romantic relationship with Britney Spears.

Oh Lord. The two met, when Sundahl began counseling the pop star after her stay in rehab at the "Promises" treatment center and refers to his lady love as his "rock." Their relationship blossomed, he claims, during AA meetings, which he hosted.

He spoke fondly of their relationship, especially of the way she was by his side after his bowel surgery.

"When I was in the hospital, she sat with me and held my hand all night long. She even sang and hummed to me while I was practically unconscious.
"I love being around her. She's a sweet, caring girl and a good mom."


Okay so wait, while Britney was in rehad she managed to hook up with two separate guys, AND her counselor? Jesus, this doesn't waste any time. She's either incredibly easy, or is a undiagnosed nymphomaniac. I wonder what the over and under is that this lasts more than a few weeks, much less months.

Britney’s Come Back Stalls

It seems like only yesterday that Britney Spears' record was being touted as having “four definite hits.” Interesting, because the latest report is that the album’s release, originally scheduled for this fall, is being pushed back to sometime next year.

A music industry insider says the album is delayed because Britney’s struggling creatively.


“I’m surprised the album wasn’t pushed back to ’09 — everything’s up in the air with the album right now,” the insider says.

“Jive [Jive, Brit’s label] hated the songs Britney was coming up with, except for a few. The executives are not happy. And she didn’t want to listen to anyone. Everything was a problem for her. They wanted her to work with certain people, and she wanted the opposite.”

Britney Wants Restraining Order Against Mom?

Britney Spears is seeking a restraining order against her own mother because Britney is still pouting about being forced into rehab.

A source close to Britney has just given X17, exclusively, some shocking news - Britney's visit to her attorney's office yesterday may have been part of Spears' research into filing a restraining order against her own mother, to keep Grandma away from Jayden and Sean!


Britney and Lynne's relationship soured when Brit was forced into rehab by her family and management. Reports had the mother and daughter reconciling last month and we did catch Brit's mom and her daughter's Bel Air home, but Britney was mum on mom the following day when we asked if she was happy to see her mom again. We haven't seen the two together since.

Britney And Her BFF Cousin

Britney Spears has transferred her codpendancy from Kevin Federline/Paris Hilton/Howie Day onto her BFF/Assistant/Cousin Alli Sims.

Alli has been with Brit through all her trail, tribulations, tattoos and headshavings over the past three months, and in appreciation, Brit takes Alli with her all over the world on unauthorized vacations with her kids and takes her shopping with her like she used to take that stupid little dog.


Her new thing now is to dress Alli just like her. It’s sort of like Alli is a creepy ‘My Size Barbie Britney’ doll. It’s either that or young Alli actually thinks Britney dresses cool and wants to be like her and that kids, is just too sad for us to admit.

JR Did Britney Wheelborrow Style?

Music producer J.R. Rotem bragged to Blender Magazine about his short relationship with Britney Spears, claiming he “fucked her wheelbarrow-style.” That’s one of the few details he would dish from his two-week relationship with the star, because you know, he wanted to respect her privacy and stuff.

“I fucked Britney wheelbarrow style. Just kidding.” He waits a beat. “It was tractor style.” You may recall Rotem’s name and/or hair from the gossip blogs.


Back in December, five weeks after Spears sent Kevin Federline packing from Malibu to the Valley, sandwiched somewhere in the midst of her cataclysmic mental mudslide - between paparazzi shots of her bald beaver and her nude noggin - grainy footage appeared of the postpartum pop star climbing onto Rotem’s lap, cigarette in hand, leaning in for a kiss.

They had been working together on her next record and capped the night with the Cameron Diaz chick flick The Holiday - and some curbside canoodling. Back at Beluga Heights, Rotem’s old friend Porter presses him for salacious details about that night. “How did you do that?” the rapper asks, slapping his thigh in disbelief. “I heard she’s on the wild side. Is that true?” The cameramen exchange excited glances. Whether out of respect for Spears or concern for his career, Rotem clams up. His right foot twitches; his knuckles whiten on the arm of the leather couch. An awkward silence creeps in. “We were working in the studio together,” Rotem replies flatly, trying to bring the conversation to a halt. He ventures something about a sampling machine.

Later in the article, after mentioning how the shots of him making out with Britney got him bounced from K-Fed’s MySpace Friend’s List, the Britney talk picks up again: He talks about promiscuity (”I don’t have one-night stands”) and, finally, what really happened with Britney Spears. “Britney and I were in a relationship,” he says quietly. “We were dating for about two weeks but decided for both our careers that it wouldn’t be cool to have a romantic relationship. She was really emotional and distressed at the time.” Rotem says he doesn’t regret what happened, or his overnight notoriety; he knows it’s good for business. But whatever anyone thinks of him, he insists he always tries to do the right thing. “There are definitely times when I’m an arrogant, vain asshole. But the bigger part is sensitive, good-hearted. People who just see me in front of the paparazzi acting like a jackass have no clue who I am.”


Meanwhile in other Britney news, the pop princess was spotted today headed over to Millennium Dance Studios, where she held auditions for two male back-up dancers. She was also spotted at a private school — The Little Red School House in Hollywood.

Britney "Dating" Her Drug Counselor

In another of many great decisions, Britney Spears is reportedly dating her drug counselor, John Sundahl.

He was recommended to Spears by somebody at the Promises rehab facility, but when she visited his house in Beverly Hills to discuss how she'd stay sober, they ended up sticking their tongues into each other's mouths.

A source says: "Britney and John ended up making out beside the pool — and Britney acted like she didn’t care who saw her. She’s got no shame.”

Britney Spears Is Tox-sick

Another night, another LA party girl hits the deck, hard!

But seriously, somebody needs to ship Britney back to rehab a.s.a.p. The Toxic pop princess had to be carried out of the men’s toilets of an exclusive LA hotel bar on Sunday night after she was discovered vomiting uncontrollably.

During the incident she was overheard telling hotel staff, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry. Things aren’t going well for me at the moment.”

Talk about an understatement! The troubled star, who spent a month in rehab earlier this year, was then carried out of the bar sobbing and covered in sick. It’s not unusual to see Britney out on the town these days, but never in this kind of sorry state. The singer disappeared to the bathroom just an hour after arriving at the Mondrian Hotel’s swanky Sky Bar with five friends. And it wasn’t long before hotel security got a call saying she needed urgent help.

Insiders explain, “Britney was found slumped over the toilet bowl with make-up smeared over her face and her wig hanging off.”

“She had a room booked at the hotel but was too ill to stay and was begging her bodyguard to take her home. She looked a real mess and was sitting on the floor with her head over the bowl throwing up.”

“There was vomit down the front of her black dress and around her mouth. Britney was on her knees and must have been sick four or five times. She didn’t really seem with it, but I don’t know if she was drunk or not.”

The mother-of-two then had to be helped out of the hotel because she couldn’t stand up by herself.

The source adds, “It was really sad. Everyone thinks she’s getting back on track after her comeback shows but that’s clearly not the case. I think she needs proper help.” ...and maybe just the odd night in with her kids?

Yesterday, Britney posted an epic letter on her website trying to explain the last few months.

She wrote, “Recently, I was sent to a very humbling place called rehab. I truly hit rock-bottom. But till this day I don’t think that it was alcohol or depression.”

Apparently blaming and referring her downfall to ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) she said, “I was like a bad kid running around with ADD.”

She added, “I just want the same things in life that you want... and that is to be happy.”


Well heck, isn’t that sweet. But don’t change on our account. I would have thought the first part to getting help would be to admitting you have a problem to begin with. Jesus, are all these girls in frickin living in denial or what? You got Paris speeding around unlicensed, Lindsay getting drunk and jumping curbs with her SLK, and Britney rolling around on the floor of dirty night bathrooms coughing up her lungs and what she had for breakfast. How glamorous.

Britney And Ryan Make Out?

The National Enquirer is claiming that Britney Spears and Ryan Phillippe hooked up in a bathroom at Les Deux last week.

A source told the magazine that Ryan stopped by Britney's table and "Britney had her arms around him." She then allegedly followed Phillippe into the men's room and, after getting worried, her bodyguards are said to have "busted in the door and found Britney and Ryan groping and kissing."

Britney's Concert Disaster

Everything that could possibly go wrong went wrong at Britney Spears' concert at the House of Blues in Orlando on Saturday night.

We all know that Britney does not sing live, but the worst possible thing that could happen to a lipsyncher happened to Britney - her CD with her prerecorded vocals started skipping!!!

This happened not just once. Not just twice. But four to five times! During her performance of Do Something.

"Several people in the audience started booing," says one of our spies in attendance. "It was not pretty!"

Yet others in the audience started cheering, giving Britney some moral support. People bought tickets to see a trainwreck, washed-up former pop star and that's what they were getting!

"When the CD started skipping, she turned her back to the audience," says a spywitness, "Then when it stopped, she turned around with this look on her face like she was gonna puke!!! I really felt bad for her. Then the effin thing started skipping really badly again!!! And then again and again. It was crazy."

But that was not the only drama during the show. The problem was eventually fixed before moving on to the next song but if that wasn't embarrassment enough, Spears suffered another technical difficulty towards the end of her show. The headset microphone - that she clearly was not singing into - broke!

Says one witness, "She was rolling on the ground dancing and her face microphone broke and was hanging down at her neck... and she was embarrassed again!! So she tried to push it back up and it went up to her forehead... and then back down to her chest. I couldn't believe with a 5 second show that the whole effin thing fell apart!! What are the odds of that shit?!?"

Hahaha, consider it a sign britters. You can't do things half-assed and hope no one will notice.

Britney Turns Her Back On Mom

There are reports that Britney Spears has completely cut herself off from her mother, Lynne Spears. Not only did she NOT call her mother on Mother’s Day while her mom was in the hospital suffering from pneumonia, but she didn’t call her on her mom’s birthday as well! Sources say:

“Britney has cut off all communication with her mom,” a “friend” of the 25-year-old singer told insiders, “She’s gone from calling Lynne ten times a day to flat-out refusing to speak to her.”

“Britney says her mom betrayed her and she refuses to get over it,” the source explain, “When she was told to give her mom a call, Britney said: ‘I’m busy, I have my own kids now.’ ”

Britney is reportedly still furious at her mother for the role she played in making Britney go to rehab earlier in the year, and is refusing to let it go. That’s really ironic. Britney’s mom tries to help her save her from herself and Britney then turns her back on her.

Britney Pulled Over For Speeding

Britney Spears -- never the world's greatest driver -- got pulled over by Beverly Hills cops for speeding Friday night, but got off with just a warning.

Brit was driving along Sunset Boulevard around 8:45 PM, reports People, when the police asked her to pull over. But no worries for the pop star -- "She was warned about her speed and let go. "She was not cited," said a Beverly Hills police rep.

Spears had been doing more dance workouts at the Millennium Dance Studio and, according to the mag, had been in the recording studio with brief-boytoy JR Rotem.
