Sandra Bullock In Car Crash!

Sandra Bullock was involved in a car accident on Friday night (April 18), after the vehicle she was travelling in was struck by a drunk driver in Gloucester, Massachusetts - however, no injuries were sustained in the accident.

Local media have reported that Bullock, who has been filming a new movie in the area, and her husband Jesse James were being driven to their hotel in Eastern Point, when a car jumped lanes and smashed into the front of the vehicle.

Lucille Gatchell, the 64-year-old driver of the offending Subaru station wagon, was arrested following a field sobriety test, where she registered two-and-a-half times the legal limit.

The Boston Herald attempted to contact Gatchell, who issued a "no comment" about the incident, with no statement being released by the couple.

Lt Gerry Cook of the Gloucester Police Department told the paper that, "It's unfortunate, but it shows you that no one is immune from drunk drivers, no matter how famous you are.

Britney Has A Fender Bender

Britney Spears is back in the headines again, this time for being involved in a minor car accident on Saturday evening (April 12) in Los Angeles, when the pop star was driving and accidentally rear-ended another vehicle.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Spears ran into another car while driving on the 405 freeway in LA at approximately 8:30pm.

No-one was injured in the fender-bender, and no one received a ticket.

Britney Gets Charged!

Britney Spears walked into a Van Nuys Valley police station last night and surrendered to LAPD at around 9:20pm, pacific coast time, to be booked on one count of hit and run causing property damage and one count of driving without a valid California license. Both charges are misdemeanors.

The maximum penalty is 6 months in jail. The incident occurred on August 6th, when Spears hit a parked car in a parking lot and left the scene without reporting the accident.

More than three weeks after being charged with two misdemeanor charges stemming from her August hit-and-run accident, Britney Spears was booked and fingerprinted at 9:26 p.m.

“She is being booked right now at the Van Nuys station,” LAPD Sgt. Mike Lopez confirmed. Describing the LAPD’s booking process, Sgt. Lopez explained: “She comes in and we put her information into computer, fingerprint her, lifescan and electronically scan hands and palms as well, and photograph her. She will be issued a release from custody citation, which tells her next court appearance.”

Lindsay Lohan Gets Sued Again

Lindsay Lohan is being sued by a woman who claims Lindsay and her bodyguard hit her car and then gave her a fake name and number. Sources reports:

Signe Dupuy claims that in April 2007 LiLo and her main man, Jaz, cut her off in their SUV while she was driving on Fairfax Ave. in L.A. Dupuy says when she got out of the car, Lindsay stopped and glared at her, while Jaz was "hostile" and "tried to intimidate" her.

She says they gave her a fake name and number (the nerve!) and drove away. Signe tells us this is her last resort, as she has tried to contact Lindsay several times, even sending her rep a letter.

Lindsay's rep told us she did get the letter but "filed it away," adding "I assumed the letter was sent to [Lindsay's] lawyers. That's what they're paid for."

Lohan Sued By Photographer

New York photographer Giovanni Arnold has sued Lohan and her mom Dina Thursday in New York State Supreme Court, apparently still steaming from their allegedly literal run-in on Mar. 13 outside of a Manhattan hotel.

The paparazzo alleges that the ladies were "negligent, careless and reckless" when Lohan hit him with her BMW while motoring away from him and his fellow shutterbugs after they had trailed her to the Hotel Gansevort in Soho from the nighttime hotspot Butter.

According to Arnold's complaint, the Mean Girls star's actions left him with "sustained severe and permanent personal injuries" that resulted in economic losses. Arnold is seeking unspecified damages to compensate for his recently acquired inability to chase after celebs. Dina Lohan owns the Beemer, hence her inclusion in the lawsuit.

Lohan, 20, told the New York Post in March that, while trying to drive her way through the usual gaggle of paparazzi, an overzealous member of the pack jumped on the hood of her car and Arnold, who was standing nearby, was accidentally knocked down in the process.

Witness accounts had Lohan jumping out of the car to check on him and then talking briefly to a police officer, who allowed her to leave the scene—which she did, in her bodyguard's SUV. She returned to the hotel about an hour later.

Arnold's agency told the Post that he was treated for a bruised knee at a nearby hospital.

It just so happens that, during an appearance on Late Night with David Letterman Wednesday, Lohan's interview featured a series of true-or-false questions that included one about whether she once drove over a paparazzo's foot.

"I should have," Lohan joked, denying that she actually did. "The guy completely faked it. Amazing."

Lohan has been on the publicity trail all week promoting her latest film, Georgia Rule, which opens today. Last night, she put in an appearance on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, telling the host that she and her friends were planning a big Las Vegas shindig for her 21st birthday next month, and today she helped whip up some profiteroles on The Martha Stewart Show.

If you notice, she's also holding her "bottle of water" in all these shots and clips, and wasn't it just reported a few days ago that someone was seen pouring vodka into her water bottle(s)?!? FFS, how stupid does she think we are? I love how these teeny-bopper celebrities act as though they were the first to have sex, get drunk, and have a drug problem.

Well guess what, civilization has been going on for thousands of years, and trust me, its been going on in one form or another for all that time. So in other words, Lindsay's running a muck around town, half drunk and most probably coking off her nut - ah, the life of a spoilt, clueless, celebrity.

Denise Richards Sideswiped in Beverly Hills

Denise Richards was the victim of a dangerous hit-and-run sideswipe in Beverly Hills yesterday.

The former Bond girl was getting her daughter Sam out of her Mercedes SUV when the car was sideswiped yesterday while parked on Santa Monica Blvd. No one was injured, but Denise was shaken as she told cameras, "The guy took my door off, I was taking her out on the other side and he took the door off!"

Richards can be seen unloading car seats and personal items from the Mercedes to a sidewalk, where she and Sam, her daughter with Charlie Sheen, waited over an hour for boyfriend Richie Sambora. After Sambora appeared, he kissed Denise and consoled Sam, and the SUV was towed.
