APD investigated a burglar alarm yesterday at the home of Lindsay Lohan, and after they waded through the mess and broken debris left behind, they discovered that the burglar never actually made it into the house and that Lindsay is a lazy pig. The Daily Mail says...

The apartment looked like it had been ransacked, but closer forensic examination discovered that the mess was actually left by Li-Lo herself.

There were pry marks on the back door and tampering with the back window. LAPD’s finest discovered that no-one had entered the house and nothing had been stolen, but officer Karen Rayner said the place was so messy that they had to contact the actress - who is currently in Paris - and ask: "Is it normally like this, or did intruders do it?"

Kiefer Sutherland Might Go To Jail

Kiefer Sutherland is said to be facing only a minor assault charge over his alleged argument in New York this week - however, because the actor is still under probation, Los Angeles based authorities may push for further penalties.

Sutherland allegedly headbutted a fashion designer at a party on Tuesday (May 5), and according to the New York Daily News, he will surrender to New York authorities to face a third-degree assault charge.

However, he is currently serving a five-year probation term in L.A. for his second DUI conviction, and the incident in New York may have violated those terms, says L.A. City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan.

“Our office intends to contact the NYPD and New York prosecutors to review the incident and determine whether Mr. Sutherland violated probation,” Mateljan says.

A probation violation could mean a return to jail for the 24 star, who spent 48 days in jail on the conviction.

“If Sutherland is found in violation of probation for battery, and if he was intoxicated at the time, he could very well be sentenced to another 48 days or more,” Steve Sitkoff, an L.A. criminal defense attorney not involved with the case, told People magazine.

Amy Winehouse Charged With Assault

Despite trying to tone-down her partying and headline grabbing ways, Amy Winehouse has been ordered to front a London court to face assault charges.

According to a spokesperson from London’s Metropolitan Police, “The singer has been charged. She will appear on bail at City of Westminster Magistrates Court on Tuesday 17th March charged with common assault.”

He added, “It is connection with an incident in Berkeley Square on the 26th September 2008.”

There has been no official comment made by her rep at the time of writing.

Terrence Howard, TI Retract Comments About Chris Brown

Actor Terrence Howard and rapper TI have retracted comments they made about Chris Brown’s alleged domestic assault on his girlfriend Rihanna, with both releasing statements saying they spoke without knowing the full story.

Howard told paparazzi on Tuesday night (Feb 10), “It’s just life, man. Chris is a great guy. He’ll be all right. And Rihanna knows he loves her. She’ll be all right. Just everybody’s got to get out of their way.”

However, the ‘Hustle and Flow’ star explained in a statement, ”When they asked me about Chris Brown the other day, I was in no way aware of what he had been accused of. Had I known, I would have never had said something so insensitive.”

During an interview on ‘Last Call with Carson Daly’ TI told the host, “This too shall pass. We’re celebrities, we’re entertainers, but we’re still human—all of us. Don’t expect us not to make mistakes because we will.”

The rapper took back that comment via a press release saying he “made a mistake of commenting before understanding the situation.”

Kelly Osbourne Arrested On Assault Charge

Kelly Osbourne was arrested on January 2 for allegedly slapping a UK gossip columnist who wrote that her boyfriend didn’t know how an earthquake was caused, it was revealed Monday (January 19).

Zoe Griffin posted a story about the encounter in The Mirror last August, writing that Osbourne issued “a volley of threats” against her and handed out a slap “hard enough to make my head swing back. And I was left sitting on a sofa dazed…”

According to Griffin, Osbourne erupted after she “began ear-bashing me about two lines in my column when I wrote her model boyfriend Luke Worrall had to ask friends how an earthquake was caused.”

A spokeswoman for Scotland Yard released a statement saying, “I can confirm that a 24-year-old woman attended a central London police station by appointment at 3pm on January 2.

“She was arrested for common assault relating to an alleged incident in Soho in the early hours of 29th August 2008. She was bailed to attend a central London police station on a date in March.”

Paris Hiltons Ex Accused of Brutality

Rick Salomon, Paris Hilton's sex tape partner, is being sued by a woman who claims he and his roommate are responsible for a brutal beating.

In a lawsuit filed Tuesday in L.A. County Superior Court, Gertrude Harutunian claims Salomon hosted a drug-fueled party last July at his home in the Hollywood Hills,. The alleged drugs of choice -- cocaine, meth, pot and alcohol which were "freely given out...."

Harutunian claims the drugs and alcohol caused Buddy Segal, his roommate, to pull Harutunian from a bed by her hair, "strike, hit and throw" her while Salomon watched. She claims Segal then dragged her across a room to a shower and threw her inside as "Salomon watched and conspired with Segal to hurt and injure [her]."

Harutunian is seeking unspecified damages.

And here's a fun fact... the Salomon house was once owned by a close friend of OJ Simpson. Simpson used to visit the home frequently before he killed Nicole. During Simpson's murder trial there was testimony by a guest at a party that Simpson once struck Nicole in the guest house on the property. It's the only eyewitness who ever testified he saw Simpson brutalize Nicole.

Paris Hilton’s Mother Talks About Break-In

Hilton, the mother of Paris, has talked about the break-in at her daughter’s house late last week saying, “I’m just happy she’s okay.”

Thieves broke into Paris’s Sherman Oaks home at approximately 5am on Friday morning (December 19), with the Los Angeles Times reporting that $2 million worth of jewelry was stolen.

Hilton told E! Online, “She and I were talking about it and really, it is stuff.”

“I’m just happy that she’s okay,” she continues. “But you can’t be possessed by your possessions. Those are just things. And I’m happy that she’s okay.”

Hilton adds, “I think the police are investigating it right now. You’ll probably know before I do.”

Britney Unfairly Targeted?

Attorney J. Michael Flanagan has rejected a plea deal and is prepared to go to trial over an incident last August (2007), when Britney Spears hit a parked car and drove away without notifying the owner.

Currently Spears is facing a $150 fine and a year’s probation, however, Flanagan says the star is being unfairly targeted because she is a celebrity and doesn’t deserve a mark on her criminal record.

He states an offer of a $10 fine and a reduction of the charge to an infraction is acceptable and will appeal any conviction should the case go to trial later this month.

Panettiere's Dad Charged With Misdemeanor Battery

Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office announced that Hayden Panettiere's father Alan has been formally charged with misdemeanor battery, after he allegedly assaulted his wife last month.

Mr. Panettiere is accused of striking Lesley Vogel in the face following a domestic argument at their West Hollywood home on August 11.

The couple released a statement the day after saying, "It was a big misunderstanding. We love each other very much and want everyone to know that the matter was completely blown out of proportion."

If convicted at his arraignment on October 11, Mr. Panettiere faces up to a year in jail.

Shia LaBeouf Busted on DUI

Shia LaBeouf is in trouble again and this time it's really serious. Sources say he's been arrested for suspicion of DUI.

Law enforcement sources tell us LaBeouf was involved in a car accident at about 3am at the corner of La Brea and Fountain in Hollywood. We're told Shia made a left turn in front of another car and the two collided, causing Shia's car to roll.

Paramedics were called to the scene and both parties were taken to a local hospital, but no major injuries were sustained.

LaBeouf was placed under arrest on suspicion of felony DUI after we're told he exhibited "outward signs" of intoxication at the scene.

LA is tough on crime

Khloe Kardashian entered and left Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood County, Los Angeles, on Friday (July 18) in 173 minutes, being released due to overcrowding.

The star of the reality show ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’, was sentenced to jail for violating her probation stemming from a DUI arrest in 200.

Karadashian was booked into the facility at 8:52am, entered the jail at 10:25am and was released at 1:29pm and must now enroll into an alcohol treatment program - the probation term she broke in the first place - within three weeks.

Paris and Benji Hit and Run

High-profile celebrity couple, Paris Hilton and Benji Madden, have been accused of allegedly driving over the foot of a paparrazi as they left a club in West Hollywood on Thursday night, before driving away.

Photographer Glen Gurniak has filed papers with the Los Angele's Sheriff's Department and told paparazzi agency Splash News Online that, "There were too many people that side of the car so he swung the wheels in my direction on the other side of the car and got my foot trapped under the wheel."

"I yelled at him: 'Dude, you've pinched my foot under the wheel, don't drive, don't drive,'" the pap said. "He turned and looked at me out of the window and then just drove. I fell to the floor as the car stopped and was just laying on the floor as everyone was screaming at him that he'd run me over."

The incident was captured on video by TMZ.com where a loud scream can be heard as the couple drives away.

Steve Witmore, a spokesman for the L.A. Sheriff's Department told Usmagazine.com that, "The incident is currently under investigation."

Winehouse Cautioned over Assault

Amy Winehouse has been given a caution by police after being arrested for allegedly headbutting a man outside of a bar in London on Wednesday night (April 23).

The singer handed herself into police on Friday and remained in custody overnight with her representative, Chris Goodman, releasing a statement saying that Winehouse had "admitted to a common assault by slapping a man with an open hand and accepted a caution."

"Amy was fully cooperative with inquiries and apologized for the incident," he said.

Inside the Mad House: Britney's Meltdown

Law enforcement sources have opened up about the craziness in Britney's house the night she was committed. It involves profanity, nudity, drugs and wild mood swings.

Sources say when the cops showed up, Britney was locked in the master bathroom with Jayden James. Officers saw Britney from the backyard holding Jayden, who did not appear to be upset. Britney refused to come out for nearly three hours. When she did, all she was wearing was panties. Britney was incoherent, screaming at the cops, "What the fuck are you doing in my house? I know who you are." She continued ranting, "I don't need your fucking help." And as her moods swings changed wildly from laughter to rage to sobs, she hollered, "You will do as I say."

At some point Britney put on a see-through nightgown. Before police took her outside, they wanted to cover her with a sweater, and she screamed, "Don't cover me up. I'm fucking hot."

Britney's assistant and nanny were present during the standoff. And her assistant told the police that Britney had been "popping pills" all day. Her code for medication is "vitamins" and she repeatedly demanded, "Get me my vitamins!" Officers found a bottle of Prozac in her bedroom.

Sam Lutfi arrived and told officers that he and the others around Britney "knew this was coming for a long time," but didn't know how bad it would be.

The assistant also told cops that earlier in the day, Britney showed no concern about attending her deposition and would not heed her warnings to show up on time. Sam told law enforcement that Britney had been extremely unstable and had recently purchased a house in Malibu on a whim, began moving furniture in and then changed her mind. As for Jayden James, the reason cops took him to the hospital was because there was a small bruise on his leg. Britney insisted the bruise occurred on Kevin's watch. Police took Jayden to Cedars as a precautionary measure.

We're told police will testify about the insanity at Monday's custody hearing. And one more thing -- the nanny told cops that Britney would frequently dress up to the nines for no reason. She would walk around the house and change back.

Britney Gets Charged!

Britney Spears walked into a Van Nuys Valley police station last night and surrendered to LAPD at around 9:20pm, pacific coast time, to be booked on one count of hit and run causing property damage and one count of driving without a valid California license. Both charges are misdemeanors.

The maximum penalty is 6 months in jail. The incident occurred on August 6th, when Spears hit a parked car in a parking lot and left the scene without reporting the accident.

More than three weeks after being charged with two misdemeanor charges stemming from her August hit-and-run accident, Britney Spears was booked and fingerprinted at 9:26 p.m.

“She is being booked right now at the Van Nuys station,” LAPD Sgt. Mike Lopez confirmed. Describing the LAPD’s booking process, Sgt. Lopez explained: “She comes in and we put her information into computer, fingerprint her, lifescan and electronically scan hands and palms as well, and photograph her. She will be issued a release from custody citation, which tells her next court appearance.”

Dunst Gets Robbed

Two burglars reportedly snuck into Kirsten Dunst's suite at the Soho grand hotel after she left to go film a scene for her new movie and stole her $13,000 handbag, wallets, cash, cameras, and an iPod. And how did these master thieves manage to pull off the crime of the century? They walked in through an open door. The Post reports:

Beinerman took a guest elevator to the floor below Dunst's suite and then took a freight elevator up to the penthouse level.

There, Beinerman allegedly walked through an open door into the penthouse and stole items belonging to Dunst and her companions, including $2,500, a Marc Jacobs purse, wallets containing IDs and credit cards, several bags - including one by Balenciaga - two digital cameras, a cellphone and an iPod, records state.

Lindsay Busted AGAIN!

Troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan was busted early Tuesday for possession of cocaine, driving under the influence, transporting a narcotic into a custodial facility and driving on a suspended license - her second substance-related arrest in a matter of months.

Lohan's blood alcohol level was between .12 and .13, well over the .08 legal limit, and cocaine was found in her pants pocket.


The 21-year-old actress’ arrest happened about 2:15 a.m. in Santa Monica, Calif., near Pico Boulevard and Main Street, according to sources. Lohan checked out of a Malibu rehab center on July 13, after a stay of more than six weeks. She has been wearing an alcohol-monitoring ankle bracelet, going to Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and receiving therapy ever since.

The "Mean Girls" star, who turned 21 on July 2, checked into the swank facility after a wild Memorial Day weekend during which she crashed her Mercedes Benz into a curb, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and was photographed slumped in the passenger seat of a friend's car. Just last Thursday, Lohan turned herself in to police to be booked on suspicion of driving under the influence during the Memorial Day weekend car crash, police said.

Accompanied by her attorney, Lohan surrendered herself at the Beverly Hills Police Department to be fingerprinted and photographed, said Officer Brian Ballieweg. She was booked on suspicion of a DUI with a blood alcohol level above .08, California's legal limit, and on suspicion of misdemeanor hit and run, Ballieweg said. After the Memorial Day incident, police said she had been arrested for investigation of driving under the influence, though she wasn't formally booked on the allegation until Thursday.

The actress was released on her own recognizance. A court date was scheduled for August 24. Lohan said in January she had checked into a rehabilitation center for substance abuse treatment.

Earlier this month, Lohan's publicist Leslie Sloane Zelnik said the star was "doing great."

"Lindsay is working hard on her sobriety and we are all supporting her," she said.

Paris Hilton was contacted to make a comment but couldn’t answer as she was laughing her ass off!!

Britney Wants Restraining Order Against Mom?

Britney Spears is seeking a restraining order against her own mother because Britney is still pouting about being forced into rehab.

A source close to Britney has just given X17, exclusively, some shocking news - Britney's visit to her attorney's office yesterday may have been part of Spears' research into filing a restraining order against her own mother, to keep Grandma away from Jayden and Sean!


Britney and Lynne's relationship soured when Brit was forced into rehab by her family and management. Reports had the mother and daughter reconciling last month and we did catch Brit's mom and her daughter's Bel Air home, but Britney was mum on mom the following day when we asked if she was happy to see her mom again. We haven't seen the two together since.

Kristin Swanson Got Arrested

Kristy Swanson made news last year after her appearance on ‘Skating With Celebrities’ after her on show dancing partner Lloyd Eisler left his pregnant wife and one year old son to be with her.

Baby mama drama has ensued when officers escorted her into the police station in Kingston, Ontario, after Eisler's ex, Marcia O'Brien, filed a complaint against Swanson.


Swanson, 37, claims she was attacked by O'Brien in front of Eisler and O'Brien's children. The actress's rep, Michael Sands, says Swanson plans to press charges against O'Brien, saying that police took photographs of her back and other parts of her upper extremities to document the injuries.

O'Brien declined to comment, except when asked if she attacked Swanson, she replied: “Why have I not been charged?”

Lindsay Busted For DUI, Coke

After coking it up and pile driving a roadside shrubbery with her car Saturday night, Lindsay “Nose Candy” Lohan was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident. According to Fox News:

Lohan, 20, and two other people were in her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 when it crashed on Sunset Boulevard around 5:30 a.m.


It appeared Lohan was speeding...[and] officers at the scene found a “usable amount” of a drug tentatively identified as cocaine. Lohan was driven in another car to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The two other people in her car were not hurt. Officers arrested Lohan at the hospital for investigation of misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Lohan will have to appear in court to answer the citation.

Miss America Won't Testify

An undercover sex sting that used Miss America as bait may be in trouble after the beauty queen told prosecutors that she does not plan to testify against the men she helped arrest.

Lauren Nelson, 20, of Lawton, Okla., worked with police in Suffolk County to target would-be Internet sexual predators, taped for an episode of the TV show "America's Most Wanted."

She posed as a teenager and lured men into chatting online and meeting her at a home, where police and crews were waiting. Eleven men were arrested in the sting.

But one or all of the cases against the men could be in jeopardy after Nelson told prosecutors she did not plan on returning to Long Island to testify, said Suffolk District Attorney Thomas Spota in Newsday's Tuesday edition.

"Her agents have told us that she's not coming back to testify," Spota said. The Miss America Organization did not return calls for comment Monday from a Newsday reporter.

Given that Nelson actually spoke with at least one of the men arrested during the operation, Spota said he had instructed prosecutors not to present any more cases to the grand jury until they can "determine her involvement." One case already presented may falter, he said.

Attorney Michael Brown, who represents one of the 11 men swept up in the sting, said he had the right to cross-examine the beauty queen if she contends that she spoke with his client.

"You've now made Miss America a witness," he said.

Britney Pulled Over For Speeding

Britney Spears -- never the world's greatest driver -- got pulled over by Beverly Hills cops for speeding Friday night, but got off with just a warning.

Brit was driving along Sunset Boulevard around 8:45 PM, reports People, when the police asked her to pull over. But no worries for the pop star -- "She was warned about her speed and let go. "She was not cited," said a Beverly Hills police rep.

Spears had been doing more dance workouts at the Millennium Dance Studio and, according to the mag, had been in the recording studio with brief-boytoy JR Rotem.

Paris Hilton Busted Again

Everyone’s wishes might come true soon as Paris Hilton could get up to 90 days in the slammer for violating her probation for the second time. Cops pulled her over on Sunset Boulevard for driving without her headlights on. She wasn’t supposed to be behind the wheel since her license was suspended for a full three years after her DUI last September.

This is the SECOND TIME Paris has been busted for violating probation, making some kind of jail sentence more likely. She was pulled over about a month ago and cited for driving with a suspended license. Her ever-present spindoctor, Elliott Mintz, said at the time that Paris was blissfully unaware that she wasn’t allowed to drive for three years. He declined to comment on this latest incident.

City prosecuters are recommending that Paris’ probation be revoked, and it looks like they’re trying to make a well-deserved example out of her.

Mintz has been driving Paris around since her license was suspended. Janet Charlton notes that he’s died his hair blonde and has even started dressing like Paris. It looks like she needs to hire a professional chauffer.

Paris’ one-time BFF Nicole Richie also faces jail time for her DUI. She was busted driving the wrong way on the freeway back in December and admitted to cops on the scene that she had smoked pot and took a vicodin. Since she has an earlier conviction for DUI in 2002, she faces a mandatory five days in jail if she’s found guilty again.

Richie’s lawyer entered a not guilty plea for her on February 21st. There is a pretrial hearing set for April 2nd. Maybe Richie and Hilton can do a very special “Simple Life” episode from inside the county lockup. They’re sure to get into all sorts of funny hijinks there.

Paris Pulled Over And Booked

Paris Hilton and virgins just don't mix it seems. The star went to the Virgin Megastore in West Hollywood to pick up some DVDs last night at around 10:30, when she was stopped by the cops -- and her $200K 2007 Bentley Continental GTC Convertible was towed away.

Paris' publicist, Elliot Mintz, says the heiress was exiting the parking structure which "is brightly lit so she had not noticed that her headlights were not activated."

As she drove a few blocks, she was confronted by other bright lights -- those of the L.A. County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies explain that Paris was speeding down Sunset Blvd. without headlights. She was pulled over and deputies discovered she was driving with a suspended license.

According to Mintz, "If that was the case, she was not aware of it."

Last month Hilton pled no contest to alcohol-related reckless driving. We're not yet sure if her license was suspended as part of her sentence, but if so she could have violated her probation.

Paris was cited and her 2007 Blue Bentley was impounded. Just another day in the life of the hotel heiress.

Nicole Richie Charged With DUI

Nicole Richie has been charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence. The DA says Richie is charged with being under the influence of "an alcoholic beverage and a drug."

Richie was arrested on December 11 on suspicion of driving under the influence, when she was stopped for going the wrong way on the 134 Freeway in Burbank. At the time of her arrest, Richie admitted she had taken Vicodin and smoked pot, but never mentioned consuming any alcohol.

Richie will be arraigned in Los Angeles County Superior Court in Glendale, Calif. on February 21.
