Uma Thurman Engaged To Elle McPherson’s Ex

Uma Thurman’s rep has announced that the ‘Kill Bill’ star has become engaged to her boyfriend - and Elle McPherson’s ex - Arpad ‘Arki’ Busson.

Stephen Huvane said in a statement to People over the weekend, “I can confirm she is engaged.”

The pair met last year at a dinner in Milan.

Busson, a Swiss millionaire based in London, has two sons with Elle Macpherson - Arpad Flynn Alexander Busson, 10, and Aurelius Cy Andrea Busson, 5.

Thurman was married to actor Ethan Hawke, with whom she has two children, before divorcing in 2003. Prior to that, she was married to British actor Gary Oldman until 1992.

After months of denying a relationship, Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia are finally a bona fide couple, according to a family friend.

So says People, which reports that "HaLo" is going strong after a December trip to New York, when Milo chilled with the Panettieres.

"Hayden's mom adores Milo. She thinks he's so cute... She tells her friends that he's her boyfriend. She's very proud."

As for the couple itself, they're "very affectionate and very comfortable around each other." Reps say they don't comment on Panettiere's personal life.

Moore Friends

Mandy Moore has reportedly begun dating Friends star Matthew Perry.

The singer-turned-actress was seen romancing the TV star in a Beverly Hills restaurant, say insiders.

Perry and Moore's meal in the Amici Trattoria restaurant has fuelled speculation that they might be in a relationship. A source told New York Daily News:

"They were holding hands across the table and being really close and laughing a lot the whole time."

Perry was recently linked with actress Meg Ryan after they shared a meal and attended a concert together earlier this month.

Kate Hudson Is Easy

Forget Dax Shephard; Kate Hudson has moved on to a number of actual movie stars. Hudson, having dumped funnyman Shephard, was linked to Dane Cook, AND Orlando Bloom recently, but Thursday night she only had eyes for Heath Ledger. Spies at Beatrice Inn said they spent their evening at the trendy watering hole "kissing and making out."

A rep for Hudson said, "This is absolutely untrue. They ran into each other and chatted briefly, but that was the extent of it."

But spies there vehemently insist on the liplock.

Ashley Olsen And Lance Armstrong?

Ashley Olsen has a new, older man. The 21-year-old twin showed up to the Rose Bar at the Gramercy Park Hotel Monday night with Tory Burch's ex, Lance Armstrong, 36.

A bar spy said, "They came together with a group of friends. Ashley drank red wine, sat on his lap and they were making out all night. They left together around 2a.m."

Armstrong has been spending more time in town since he bought a home in New York.

Another source said, "He tried to make Tory happy when they were dating by buying a place here, but she couldn't deal with him not actually living in the same city, so they broke up."

Olsen's rep didn't return calls.

Reese and Jake Go Public

Despite endless speculation and a slew of on again/off again rumors, Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal have finally come out as a couple. If by “couple” you mean “a beard and its gay.” The Daily Mail reports

The pair met on set of the upcoming movie Rendition and have now taken their romance public - they were spotted holding hands and canoodling during a romantic trip to Rome.



Witherspoon, whose divorce from former husband Ryan Phillippe was finalised this month, had previously denied a romance with the Brokeback Mountain star. Now it’s clear their love affair is most definitely back on.

Ryan And Reese Back Together?

Are these little souffle heads back together? According to Page Six Ryan Phillipe and Reese Witherspoon are trying to work out their "whatever they have" even though they broke up ages ago. The pair split last October.

A source said, "They met for lunch this week at the Votre Sante health-food restaurant, a regular Brentwood haunt for Reese on San Vicente. And they're going on runs together around the Brentwood Country Club. Both are regular, dedicated runners."

"Running is a very healing, meditative thing, so maybe it will work its magic on them."

"Reese and Ryan are trying to work it out. They are still close."

Ryan's rep said it wasn't true.

Jessica Alba is single! And that's just the half of it.

Insiders are reporting today that Jessica Alba very unceremoniously dumped her longtime Cash Warren, and did it over the phone, for that matter. Ouch! After two-and-a-half years together, the 26-year-old actress broke up with Warren, a 28-year-old producer, last week while she was abroad over the weekend promoting Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.


She was reported as telling him, "I'm not in love with you anymore." And within hours Alba then dispatched an assistant to the L.A. home they shared to pack up Warren's belongings and move him out.

The breakup "happened... almost out of nowhere," the source says. "Cash thinks it's for another guy but doesn't know... he's totally devastated. But it was all her."

But where this story gets really interesting is the report that Alba spent some time with rapper 50cent in the Netherlands while he was there doing a tour. It seems the couple were seen sharing a romantic dinner together last month, and there’s speculation that he has been cheating on his maybe-girlfriend, Ciara, with Alba.

A Tipster explains, “Last Friday I was at [a local restaurant named] Van Vlaanderen and you’ll never guess who I saw - 50 Cent and Jessica Alba!”

The National Enquirer is claiming that Britney Spears and Ryan Phillippe hooked up in a bathroom at Les Deux last week.

A source told the magazine that Ryan stopped by Britney's table and "Britney had her arms around him." She then allegedly followed Phillippe into the men's room and, after getting worried, her bodyguards are said to have "busted in the door and found Britney and Ryan groping and kissing."

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds spent a busy weekend in New York City together.

On Saturday night, the pair were seen getting close at the Manhattan restaurant Odeon. "They were in a good mood," says one eyewitness who saw them laughing and smiling.

"They were definitely holding hands," says another observer. "They were a cute couple!"


Johansson, 22, who is a New York native, and Reynolds, 30, who ended his engagement to Alanis Morissette in February, also spent Easter together.

Britney's reported new rehab man, singer Howie Day, isn't exactly the face of a healthy relationship ... if his police record is any indication of what type of support he'll be on Brit's bewigged road to recovery. The duo met at Promises rehab and are now said to be having a spring fling.

Britney's Rehab Romp

Reports are coming in thick and fast that Britney Spears was caught romping in the bushes of her rehab centre with a NEW mystery man.

The troubled singer played a game of tennis with the unnamed man, who is also receiving treatment at Malibu's Promises clinic, before they then disappeared together.

The pair were later found frolicking in the folliage of the grounds and had to be separated by security staff.

A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Britney and her new male friend decided to play a game of tennis. Britney is allowed a little more freedom now she's been in the centre a while.

"The next thing they had sneaked off into the bushes and were getting pretty passionate. They weren't actually having sex but there was definitely some groping. We had to step in to separate them.

"They were told off. They're in rehab and relationships between vulnerable people aren't really encouraged."

This is the second time Britney, 25, has been "romantically linked" with someone she has met at rehab. But funnily enough, it was just last week that it was reported that Britney was growing "very close" with rock guitarist Jason Filyaw, who she met at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.

The 33-year-old rocker claimed that he and the shaven-haired singer had "found love" since meeting again in rehab. The pair had also apparently met once before in 2003 when they recorded some music together.

The troubled pop star has hooked up with a musician she met in AA, and plans to move in with him once she’s out of rehab, according to insiders. Spears, 25, has fallen for Jason Filyaw, the 33-year-old lead guitarist of the rock band Riva.

"Britney adores Jason," a friend of Filyaw's told the Enquirer, "He’s been a tower of strength for her at the lowest point in her life,"

"She’s convinced Jason can help her through rehab because as an alcoholic, he’s been through the same thing."

"Spears e-mails and phones Filyaw constantly," according to reports, and the two have even given each other pet names: he calls her Sugar, Kitten and My Lady, while she calls him Mr. Secret Underground Guy and J-Sun.

When contacted to make a comment Filyaw said, "I have nothing to say about this."

Before Lindsay Lohan heads for London to start shooting her next movie, Lindsay Lohan is trying to make a new British friend - former Sienna Miller beau Jude Law. Lohan ended up with Law at The Box on Chrystie Street very late on both Friday and Saturday nights, sources say.

Her whirlwind weekend started Friday with dinner at Nobu Next Door before she headed off with her mom, Dina, and former Marc Jacobs boy toy Jason Preston to Stereo, where she greeted her friend DJ AM.

“Cameron never joined their table,” says the observer. “She just showed up and Justin got up and started talking to her. They were being very discreet. They weren’t kissing or holding hands or anything, but they were being very friendly,” the observer adds.

The pair, who broke up last month after nearly four years together, then walked out the front door together a half-hour later.

Cameron Diaz was seen “canoodling” with Djimon Hounsou [Gladiator and Blood Diamond]at Hyde in L.A. on Thursday night. Cameron recently broke up with Justin Timberlake and dodged rumors she was dating Kelly Slater. Witnesses say that Cameron and Djimon were all over each other.

People reports:
“It looked like the perfect post-Valentine’s Day date,” a patron tells PEOPLE of the pair, who were with several other friends.

“They were totally vibing each other, lip-on-lip action,” says the source. “Cameron looked so happy… Djimon followed her every move.”

Diaz, 34, and Hounsou, 42, hit the dancefloor for Michael Jackson’s “Burn This Disco Out” and Gnarls Barkley’s version of “Gone Daddy Gone,” says the onlooker, adding, “They were dancing really close, bodies pressed together.”

A rep for Diaz says the pair are just friends. “Cameron was out to dinner with friends, they ran into Djimon and he joined them for a drink at Hyde,” says the rep. “They are friends, nothing more.”

A rep for Hounsou did not return calls for comment.

Okay, so everybody knows that Jessica Simpson and John Mayer are totally together going at it like rabbits, so what's with all the "media speculation" surrounding their relationship. There's nothing to speculate about.

The couple were spotted at the Sony/BMG Grammy after party, getting cozy, kissy, and caressy, but still, E! Online isn't sure about the whole thing. If John Mayer and Jessica Simpson aren't dating, they sure act like they are.


"She's a lovely woman, and I'm glad to be with her," is what he told Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet—in Japanese.

And later that night, around 9:15 p.m., Mayer was the third celeb to hit Sony's Grammy after-party at the Beverly Hills Hotel. About a half hour later, Simpson popped in.

WTF? Give me a break. What's the big mystery here? They're obviously together. We know it. They know it. They know we know they know it – it’s pathetic.

I know Jessica’s probably hoping to stretch out the suspense most probably to get back at the whole Nick and Vanessa thing, but seriously it’s getting to the point where in the end we just don’t care and will just make up our own minds about what’s true or not. Sophie Monk's New Friends

Dating fraternal twins Joel Madden and Benji Madden, has been a bonding experience for Nicole Richie and Aussie singer/actress Sophie Monk. The two have been inseperable the past few weeks as the Madden brothers, both 27, have been on tour with their band Good Charlotte.

Benji just recently proposed to the stunning Sophie Monk, 27, on Christmas Eve, presenting her with a 3.5-carat diamond and platinum engagement ring by star jeweler Neil Lane.

While Nicole Richie, 25, and Joel have only been dating a short time, friends of the star tell Celebrity Babylon she is serious about her tattood boyfriend.

Jennifer Aniston, 38 reportedly shared a secret evening at her home with Hollywood hunk Keanu, 42. The handsome actor, who has a house near Jennifer Aniston's in the Hollywood Hills, came over to her place for a private rendezvous, which they did their best to keep under wraps.

Guess it didn't work. I'm sure Keanu was ecstatic, though. He doesn't seem to be getting chosen for much these days. He's probably happy for the work. Even if that work involves having to be taken down to the basement and shown a death shrine dedicated to Brangelina...

Olivier Martinez Hooks Up with Penelope Cruz

Less then a day after announcing in a joint statement that he and Australian pop star, Kylie Minogue, had officially and amicably split from one another, Olivier Martinez was spotted at the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Los Angeles with Penelope Cruz.

It was about four years ago and at the same hotel that Martinez and Minogue first met and started their relationship, so I guess Olivier figured it was a good a place as any to find his next girlfriend.

An insider tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror, "Does Olivier really have to rub Kylie's nose in it? He is being so brazen about it all. This will devastate her. Kylie is a very sensitive woman who loved him with all her heart but he looks like he doesn't have a care in the world."

I see he's really testing the limits of the "amicable" aspect of the break-up.

Kirsten Dunst is Getting Around

Ever since Kirsten Dunst broke-up with Jake Gyllenhaal she’s been doing the rounds. She’s apparently been sniffing out every brown-moppy-headed dude she can find. She was recently linked with Adam Brody. Adam recently split up with his “The O.C.” co-star Rachel Bilson.

She was also seen “canoodling” with Drew Barrymore’s ex and Strokes drummer, Fabrizio Moretti. Not to stop there, Kirsten was then seen with Entourage star Adrian Grenier.

Now, her latest mop-head is Saturday Night Live cast member, Andy Samberg. The two were also linked last March. They were recently spotted at 205 in NYC for the DKNY jeans party for “East of Havana.” Sources say they were together most of the night, dancing and laughing. They also kept to themselves in the VIP area.

She’s a narcissist. She likes to be the only blonde in the house. Too bad it’s dishwater blonde, literally, cause I think she washes that trash in dishwater by the looks of it. I wonder what moppy-brown-headed dude she's going to hook-up with next?

Perry And Ryan Hook Up?

US Magazine reports that Matthew Perry and Meg Ryan of all people have been seen, “getting cozy in Los Angeles”. Matthew has been a “regular guest” to Meg’s home in Bel Air.

On Saturday night, sources report she “had the gates open, just waiting for him”. The odd couple were seen having dinner at The Brentwood restaurant in LA.

Meg Ryan and Matthew Perry have sparked rumours they are romantically involved after being seen getting cozy in Los Angeles.

The former Friends star has been a regular guest at the actress’ gated home in Bel Air, California. A source tells American publication Us Weekly Perry was spotted arriving at Ryan’s home on Saturday night at 8:30pm, where they say “she had the gates open, just waiting for him”.

Perry, 37, and Ryan, 45, were also see dining out at The Brentwood restaurant in Los Angeles over the holidays. They sat in a dark corner booth. Meg asked that the spotlight on their table to be turned down.

US’s sources also confirm that Matthew’s relationship with actress Lizzy Caplan is over and that the two, “are not dating anymore”.
