Britney Spears is desperate for a girlfriend. Is she ready to join Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson in the lesbian relationship buzz? Even though Britney Spears once shoved her tongue in the mouth of Madonna on live television and is rumored to have had a few lesbian encounters she doesn't want a girlfriend for lovemaking like Lindsay and Sam, she needs a friend, a new report claims.

"Britney is desperate for some female companionship," a Spears family insider spilled this week in an interview with Life & Style. "She's tired of being stuck in the house all the time and having her father tag along everywhere." But who can Britney Spears really trust?

Earlier reports have claimed that Britney is also distancing herself from her father. But the article notes that the problem is that without her parents, Britney is basically all alone. "I can't think of anyone who's close to her," says an insider. "I think Jamie saw what was happening to his daughter and went into this emergency lockdown mode, shutting out her friends. But that's a lonely way to live."

And it may even be a potentially harmful existence. "It's unhealthy because one way people learn about their lives and decide to make changes for the better is to get outside input and perspective," says Dr. Keith Ablow, a psychiatrist who does not treat Britney told the magazine. "A true friend could be a valued part of her life."

Evan Rachel Wood Is Open Minded

The hottie girlfriend of Marilyn Manson went on to tell a magazine, "I wouldn't go so far as to say that I'm bisexual - I don't sleep with women. But I definitely appreciate women and there have been times where I have been attracted to a woman."

Wood, who stars in "Across the Universe," adds, "I'm not afraid of sexuality. I think too many people get shit and get called skanky or a whore just because they are sexual."

Lindsay Tries Girls

Los Angeles - Lindsay Lohan is rumoured to be having a lesbian affair.

The ‘Mean Girls’ star – who is currently in Japan for a fashion shoot – is said to be more than just friends with DJ Samantha Ronson, who has accompanied her on her trip.

Former publicist Jonathan Jaxson wrote in his blog: “Lindsay actually has always been quite open. Maybe she was tired of the boys and that is why she decided to spice it up with BFF Samantha Ronson.

“Now I would have no bad things to say about either if Samantha wasn’t deeply involved in alcohol and drugs. Not the best influence for a rehabbed Lindsay Lohan.”

Jaxson claims Lindsay and Samantha’s fledgling same-sex romance has been confirmed by his sources.

Lindsay, 20, arrives in London next month to begin shooting ‘The Best Time of Our Lives’ - a biopic about the love life of poet Dylan Thomas - alongside Keira Knightley.

Natalie Portman Open To Lesbian Fling

Actress Natalie Portman wouldn't mind embarking on a lesbian relationship, for the simple reason that she doesn't want to disconnect herself from half of the world population.

The 'Star Wars' star said that she doesn't understand why anyone would want to cut off from 50 percent of the people.

"Why would you close yourself off from 50 per cent of people," Contactmusic quoted Portman, as saying.

The actress added that she hasn't tried dating a woman, and that a relationship is all about the person one falls in love with.

"I've never dated a woman or anything like it, but I think it's much more about the person you fall in love with," she added.

Kristanna Loken's Catty L-Word Cast

Although Kristanna Loken is only a shade past that age, the 27-year-old, who is making her debut on the "L Word," has taken a circuitous career path since a very high-profile gig in 2003’s "Terminator 3."

In the role as the Terminatrix, the nearly 6-foot-tall Loken was cast in part because she looked like she posed a credible threat to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s heroic Terminator. But such great heights have proven to be a hindrance to Loken, she said during an interview.

She has most often played parts in action, fantasy and horror offerings, with varied success: she has been in schlock (the movie "BloodRayne" — as a "dhampir," half-human, half-vampire), but will also star in Sci Fi Channel’s anticipated new series "Painkiller Jane." Did she choose her route down the genre road?

"Not really," Loken said, "I feel like it chose me." She laughed.

Loken added, "I’ve been this height since I was 18 years old. On ‘The L Word’ it didn’t really matter because we’re all the same lying down, and that’s what we did for half the show."

Loken is openly bisexual, which contributed to her desire to be on the show.

"I liked being able to have a same-sex relationship on screen and have it be okay," she said. That makes her one of the few "out" members of the "L Word" group, since most of the cast identifies as heterosexual or won’t speak publicly about their sexuality.

Her character will be on the series through the rest of the season, but unlike Shepherd and Matlin, Loken has no plans to return to the show, regardless of whether "Painkiller Jane" is a hit. She called Chaiken and the other producers and writers "fantastic," but said her "L Word" run was soured by "the most difficult cast I’ve ever worked with."

"I’m not naming names," she said, "But let’s just start with the fact that it’s an entire show of women. And the amount of egos and insecurities and cattiness that can go on with a bunch of women — that’s what you get. It attracts certain people that want to do something different in their career, but the girls were tough. You know?"

Loken continued, "I really like Ilene — a lot. It’s a big, ensemble cast. And sometimes you wonder if they’ve bit off more than they can chew." Chaiken complimented Loken, and would not comment on what she said about her experience on the set.

Although this is old news, In Touch Weekly claims Britney Spears is into girls and has been living "a secret life of wild sex long before her marriage ended."

A friend of Kevin Federline says, "Britney was into threesomes and girls." He says Britney would often invite a bunch of girlfriends over to the couple's house to party.


An insider who knows the couple well says that over the course of a night, Britney would often disappear into a bedroom with her girlfriends.

"Sometimes it was three girls, and sometimes there were more like six," the insider says, "I heard about her being with girls at least 20 times while they were married."

A friend says that Kevin plans to use tales of Britney's secret sexual exploits and drug use in his battle for custody of their sons, Sean Preston, 17 months, and Jayden, 5 months.

"She has told Kevin more than once that she is sexually attracted to women and men equally," says the pal, "He wants to show that she's not such an angel after all."

Well unfortunately the thought of Britney in all girl, 6 person orgy just isn't as appealing as it use to be...

This blind item piece of gossip recently appeared in Page Six of The New York Post speculating that a well known actress and sex siren might have recently romanced a fellow female colleague. The Post goes on to say:

"This actress was always the goody goody. She has worked hard to change that image by doing less family friendly films and making sure to wear enough see through dresses on the red carpet. She wanted to lose the squeaky clean image to get better roles, but also to sell the idea that she was sexy and desirable to men. She has no desire for men, just wants the world to perceive her as a sex symbol. Everything was going according to plan until her last movie for which there were raves. There she met another actress and love was in the air. They were inseparable for the entire shoot and even got an apartment to share. Once filming ended, our actress decided to end the relationship for fear it would damage her career. The new lover who has been quietly out for sometime and is quite the scene stealer thinks our actress should get smart and stop pretending and start living."

Reading this, most people would immediately assume that this is about Jessica Biel. But others, like the readers over at a gay gossip site are speculating that it in fact refers to Anne Hathaway and her Devil Wears Prada co-star Emily Blunt.

Miss USA: Lesbian Romps, Drugs, And Underage Drinking

Miss USA Tara Conner is on the verge of losing her crown after testing positive for cocaine, lustily kissing Miss Teen USA in public and sneaking men into their Trump Place apartment, sources tell the NYDailyNews.

"Tara was a party animal," said a source who knows Conner, 20, and Miss Teen USA Katie Blair, 18, from some of the city's top nightspots. "I've seen them kiss before. They always dance all sexy on the tables. ... They definitely get close."

Conner packed her bags and left the bachelorette pad Thursday, and canceled a scheduled Miami charity appearance tonight. Pageant sources said she has no other public appearances this year.

Pageant boss Donald Trump scheduled a Tuesday news conference to announce her fate.

"First and foremost he is concerned about Tara and wants to do what is best for her," Trump's office said. "Then he will think about what is best for the very successful Miss USA pageant."

One clubgoer described for the Daily News seeing Conner snort cocaine in one of the nightclubs where she drank regularly despite being underage, and The News learned she recently failed a drug test.

The Miss USA runner-up, Miss California USA Tamiko Nash, would inherit the crown if Conner can't finish her reign.

Conner was named Miss USA just eight months ago, but quickly started blazing a trail through New York's late-night club world, scenesters told The News.

"She really is a small-town girl. She just went wild when she came to the city," one nightlife veteran said. "Tara just couldn't handle herself. They were sneaking those [nightclub] guys in and out of the apartment."

Conner and Blair shared a Trump Place apartment with Miss Universe Zuleyka Rivera, 19, but sources say Conner and Blair got in hot water with pageant bosses for getting Rivera drunk on her birthday.

Rivera cleaned up her act, sources said, but Conner still brought boyfriends home.

Conner grew up in a tiny town in rural Kentucky, trying her luck in regional pageants before winning the Miss USA title.

Soon she broke up with her hometown fiance and started dating around in the Manhattan nightclub world - when she wasn't traveling all over the country for pageant obligations.

Ironically, when she was competing for the title, she complained that celebrities like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton were bad role models. Ha!

"I think that they're getting a little bit too much edgy. I think that they are a little bit too risque," Conner said. "I think they need to tone it down a little bit."
